Greeted and seated right away without reservations. The staff from beginning to end were very friendly and helpful. They have choices of booths and counter style seats. We sat in a booth. We found out they had a lunch special so that's what we ordered. Hamachi Teishoku set, hamachi jalapeño ponzu, Castella Tamago and Tempura Teishoku. The food was good quality and delicious! They have stamp cards too so don't forget to stamp it before you leave!

I came to Kaiten Sushi Ginza Onodera with high expectations given the reputation and the price point. We came here for my best friend’s birthday. While the sushi itself was fresh and tasted good, the experience was disappointing overall. The ambiance was clean and simple, but there was a persistent sewage odor and gnats flying around the table, which made it hard to enjoy the meal. To make matters worse, I ended up getting food poisoning afterward. For the price, I expected a much higher standard in both food quality and dining environment.

The venue is clean, chilly (air conditioner is on high) and a bit clinical. I say this because the booths are large with high backs and intercepted by a large wooden wall/shelf (that might later hold a food service bullet train track that I’ve seen in Waikiki and California). Anyway, service is attentive and prompt albeit interpersonal given the tablet ordering system and calling for service vs. having people check-in with you. Onto the food part of the review. We ordered 3 sashimi sets. What I love is being able to customize how much rice (least, please) and soup accompaniment. Eating with the eyes (yes); Quality cuts of fish (yes); Perfect portion size — satiated yet still able to eat a little something more (yes). It was my birthday so they even offered a free dessert. (So sweet ありがとう）The one pet peeve I have to share is that while I usually gravitate to booth seating, I couldn’t help but feel like I was on a slippery slide after 15 minutes (LOL).

Me and my friends went here for the blue fin limited sale and it was absolutely amazing!! I could never go back to places like Genki because this place is at least 5 times better than what u will get over there. Fresh fish, and incredibly delicious salmon miso soup!

I ordered the All Salmon Box thru UberEats and it was delicious! The presentation was on point as well. Great variety. I plan on ordering the All Bluefin Tuna box next.
This is our favorite spot on the island when it comes to fresh sashimi straight from Japan. The Ahi never disappoints, and we love all of the authentic Japanese dishes like karaage, udon, ramen, and so much more. A very extensive menu, even our little one loves the food!

Very very excellent and authentic food. Sushi quality and taste is exactly same as a regular omakase but you much lower price, and you can choose your own. Everything is so great, much better than the omakase I had last night. Especially great for people wanting to go enjoy the food and not social too much

A huge disappointment! Went for lunch with high expectations cuz of the big name. It was the last day of Bluefin Tuna promotion so we were excited.Turned out the fish quality was so poor (Bluefin? Med fatty one was OK but red one was terrible) , sushi potion was tiniest I have even had in my entire life (almost joke level) and very pricy for what they offer. Worse comes worst, both of us got sick after 4-ish hours. Won’t go back.
