Very busy but great cuts of meat and other ingredients. Would go again for sure with family or co-workers during lunch.Parking: Nearby parking on the same level in the garage across the street.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy wheel chair access via sidewalks and elevators depending on parking location.

The cost performance of this restaurant is not high, the types of dishes and meat are poor, the same price Hawaii hot pot restaurants are many, the types of dishes are very rich, and lamb, mushrooms, seafood types are also many. And the price for children under the age of 12 is not the same as the price for adults over 50 inches in this store, even for children aged seven or eight.

Had a great time here for dinner. Our first hotpot experience, and they took the time to explain everything and get us all set up. Will be back for sure.

This place runs its business in a filthy environment. Their carelessness is tactically hidden from the patrons, and I highly encourage every person to be careful with what they are serving.

There are three types of appetizers: dumplings and fried chicken, but you can skip these. There are a variety of meat menus, but I highly recommend the Wagyu beef. You can eat unlimited amounts of meat of any kind. The variety of vegetables and udon were also good. There are many types of broth, but the original is the best. Maybe it's because it's famous, but after waiting for about 30 minutes, you'll be asked to enter via text message.

First time trying Shabuya since it is close to our condo at Ala Moana Center. $30 per person with 8 types of beef, chicken, and pork combined. Beef toro was the fatty beef but very tasty while the wagyu beef did not taste wagyu. There were 5 choices of broth...we had the tonkatsu creamy which was overly salty after cooking down because they did not add in water, then the house broth tastes like bonito but not salty, and the spicy miso has a good miso taste. As for the all you can eat, they also offer 4 different appetizers...3 types of chicken karaage (spicy, terriyaki, and spicy mayo was excellent )and fried gyozas. We had the karaage and it was extremely crispy and tasty....loved the sauce. You may order 8 types of protein at a time...we tried everything except for the chicken. The help yourself buffet had lots of selection....basa fish, prawns with head, flat crabs, mussels, clams, noodles, veggies, seafood balls, kimchee, and lots of other offerings including raw eggs. Their dipping sauce is quite limited to only gamae and ponzu sauce. I have tasted much better sauces at other hot pot restaurants so I find Shabuya's sauces and broths were underwhelming. Our server, Rell, was attentive, excellent, and very patient. If it weren't for Rell's outstanding service, I would have had to give our experience at Shabuya only 3 stars. We found the quality of the meats were not top notch and not as tender as it should be. We prefer going to Sikdorak for the same price for a bbq iso hot pot for same price.

I think it was from the staff, but I was surprised that they started lowering the pot even though we still had time to eat. The food is good considering it's cheap, so it's a waste. I think it would be a better store if the staff were properly trained. Very disappointing.

Our first Shabu shabu experience. Got to say, it was pretty good. I equate it to Brazilian churaskaria but with soup. I was full even before the 1 hour mark. I started out with the spicy miso broth. It was not spicy for me at all. I did have about 6 trays of beef along with some white onions and regular cabbage along with long rice and ramen noodles. We also tried all of their appetizers. They were all delicious.

So we went to shabuya Honolulu last night. Our time was not even up and they made our party leave. They also embarrassed my parents because they sat people at our table as we were still sitting like an intimidation type of thing. Felt very uncomfortable and so did my parents. As we show respect, we did not cause a scene or say anything. If you want more customers tell them that their time is up and let them know next time, also don’t try to get large parties to leave early just to clear table space.

The food is very comforting. We sat by the high table and the service was excellent. Thanks to the bartender.
