Okay... Little rundown joint, kind of sketch looking. Wanted BBQ and Google reviews said the place was good. This is NOT a Texas BBQ kind of joint. This has to be an island thing with Asian flare / influences. Ordered Baby Back Ribs plate and there was no indication these things had ever been on / near a BBQ. More likely steamed or slow cooker. And they had a brown gravy like sauce over them - NOT a traditional ketchup/ vinegar based BBQ sauce. Served with rice and macaroni salad. Couldn't eat in the place so ate in our car.So? Good or what? Verdict - not bad... I wasn't thinking I would like them, but they weren't bad. Gravy / sauce had a good taste and meat fell of the bone and was tasty. Not my favorite BBQ experience, but not terrible either. Got a lot of food for the money. Wife had a cheese burger - wasn't too impressed. Time to get meal was slow and her food sat waiting for mine too come up.Out the door with two medium pops was $30. Probably wouldn't go back on purpose, but if I were in the area might try it again. I like dives and I like surprisingly good meals.
CHICKEN WINGS! chicken wings are so good. Juicy, tender, pull off the bone with a crunchy and flavorful batter. You can order as a side order or with fries or Mac and rice. Their bbq cheeseburgers are delicious, too. Mini plates are packed- so they seem more like a regular plate. Prices are worth it! Service is fast. We always call to order and food is usually ready in 10-15 minutes.
Huge portions and great deals! I got a mini chicken katsu curry and I was honestly super surprised how much chicken katsu I got for a mini. There's no dining in, only take out and they made our food really fast.
My husband usually orders their Ginger Chicken but decided to try the BBQ Chicken plate. He said wrong move! It was dry and hardly any taste. I tried it...he was right! Never will order this again!
The prices were great and they give large portions. This was our first meal after 10 hours of flying so we were really hungry. Not sure it quite lives up to what we hoped for, but it was still very good.
Love the food and the aunty that works the counter. I love when she answers the phone. Staaaadium malt. My go to spot for comfort food
First off, let me say that I believe when you go to a takeout restaurant, you can't expect too much when it comes to proper preparation of the rice. If it were a Japanese restaurant, it would be a sin if they served bad rice and there's absolutely no excuse for it. I think improperly prepared and cooked rice on a plate lunch makes or breaks it. Even if it's smothered in brown gravy, you can't hide it! I needed to buy myself dinner the other day and happened to be in the area of Stadium Mall, so I decided to call in my order. The lady who took my order was really nice, so that makes up for the soggy rice. I'm very forgiving and believe in second chances, so I would go back some day. As for my plate, I had the standard hamburger steak and it was ok. I can tell it's a house made patty and it was actually pretty soft. They do give you three patties so plan on having enough for two meals! When I picked up my food, I noticed that there were numerous "party pans" of food on the counter waiting to be picked up, so I understood why that could be the reason for the improperly prepared rice. It was probably due to the fast paced atmosphere in the kitchen. Just need to pay more attention to proper preparation and it'll be alright. I also feel hamburger steak with gravy is kind of a gauge of how good a place might be to us locals. If it's unappetizing, chances are the rest of the food offerings will most likely follow suit. Working for long time in construction and eating at numerous lunch wagons over the years, we construction guys have had our fair share of bad rice and greasy food, but like my dad used to say, if the rice is good, it can turn a not so good meal into a good meal. I still believe that. So give these folks a chance if you're in the area and support a local business in doing so. A-ok! Three Stars * * *
Cheap, but not worth the price. The chicken and white rice were the only halfway decent things I had. The shrimp had no seasoning whatsoever. The macaroni salad was sub par. The fries didn't have a grain of salt on them and were extremely inconsistent in texture. Some fries were unusually hard, and others shattered like plaster when bitten.I have only had one experience with this place, but I feel these other reviews must be manufactured based on the lack of care that was put into my meal. Moreover, the chicken and shrimp that I ordered was the staff's recommendation, so I had an expectation that it would be somewhat good. I was, however, sorely disappointed.
I had plans to vacation in Oahu and so a local friend of mine had given me a list of places she likes to eat at, including Stadium Giant Malts & BBQ. She mentioned that this place made some of the best wings. My husband and son are BIG TIME wing lovers, so we had to go. She was definitely right. The wings were so good. Even my daughter and I who are NOT big time wing lovers couldn't have enough. The seasoning was perfect! We also ordered the chicken katsu and mixed meat plates, which were ALL very delicious. The mac salad was very simple, which we personally appreciated. I assumed the chocolate malt was going to taste like a Wendy's frosty, but it was so much better. Tasted like a blended fudgesicle. So much more refreshing... especially in the Hawaiian heat. The only downside is that there was no seating inside due to covid, but found some tables in front of the nearby Jamba Juice. If you have plans to go to the Aloha Stadium, check it out! Right next to it!

Wife has been here before but it's a first for me, food was decent. Mac salad was heavy with mayonnaise but I'm Portuguese so we like mayo...lol! I ordered a med chocolate malt and when my wife came to the car I was like WTH it looked like a kids cup. I mean if this is your med I can't imagine what your small looks like. Anyways I'll ask to see cup size next time...lol! Cup size matters! Lmao
