Great place, directly on the beach. Barbara was awesome. Will definitely go back.

Fantastic entertainment. We had VIP upgrade. These are much better seats, especially since the sun is setting and others struggled with the sun in their eyes. The food buffet was quite good...salads, chicken, pork, fish, sides, and dessert. An open bar was available throughout the evening. The performers were outstanding! I was very impressed.

Amazing Luau! The entertainment was incredible and the food was delicious. This is a must do if visiting the island.

Had a darn pole in the way so it blocked the stage - food was good and music and singing was beautiful.

Of the 3 luaus I've been to on Kauai, this one had the best food and entertainment.

We had the best time at this luau! It is such an emotional show; the bonds between the performers are so sincere, even familial. I was so very touched by the personal touches added, particularly the star singer dedicating to her daughter (a dancer & drummer in the show) a song written by her father (Kamelani, which has stuck in my head for days! Wish I’d bought the cd!) The setting on the grounds of the Sheraton is gorgeous. The quality and talent level of the music & dancing is top-notch. All of the staff is warm & friendly, from the smiling hostesses to the hilarious MC. I just felt so welcomed and entertained and moved by the whole experience. The stories are beautifully told, the musicians so skilled, the dancers so talented, and everyone seems happy to be there and takes pride in their art and their heritage. Food is as expected for a buffet - we enjoyed everything we tried (my husband even ate his whole scoop of poi ?!) We did not have our kids with us on this trip, but wish they could have experienced this luau because the performers made such an effort to welcome and include the kids in the festivities. All in all, a joyful, touching, entertaining performance. Not to be missed!!

I’ve been to 5 luaus At least. Although the Entertaiment was fine , it was contrived at best. Come on , a dance / hula studio doing a luau ? You know it’s not original. Spend the extra 50$ and go elsewhere. There were only 4 gals and 2 guys the whole show. Food was average at best. Drinks were below average. It was sincerely a $50 show.

I have been to many Luaus (15 or more) on all of the major Islands. To start off with seating was at 5:15, but they were seating people at 5. There was no lei greeting (most have at least a shell lei). There was no Imu (opening of the pip where the pig is cooked) ceremony. A positive was that the seating was close to the stage. The food tasted good. But the menu lacked a beef option, there was no fresh fruit (the mixed fruit that they has was mushy like it came out of a can), and No sweet potato. The show was very good, which saved my rating from being poor.

There was a little of everything at this luau. We started the evening getting seated. We were then able to enjoy some drinks and then walked around where we found a few vendors selling jewelry, bags, wood carvings, fresh coconuts, etc. As dinner time was about to start, the vendors left the premises and their \\\"journey through the Polynesian islands\\\" began. The MC was really good. He was funny, a good story teller, and kept things in order. The food was delicious and plentiful. I thought I would go back for seconds, but I really filled my plate the first time and couldn't eat another bite. I liked that they used eco-friendly dishware as well. The service for clean up was also great. The dancing was fun to watch. For some reason, I expected more dancers, but the show was still enjoyable with the smaller group of dancers.

The absolute best luau with the best host and dancers and singers. The food was really good and everyone was easy to talk to. Definitely go to this luau for the best experience and show.

Really enjoyable, more intimate feel. Food was plentiful and good, open bar and the entertainment was great. Good dancers, singers with a story behind the dances and songs given. Fire dance was exciting.

Great food, really authentic. Not too hokey like some other more touristy luaus.

This was our first trip to Hawaii thus our first Luau. We had scheduled one that was recommended in Maui but it was canceled due to weather so I scheduled this one at the last minute. We were not disappointed. The food was good, the dancers excellent, the history lesson was great. It was not too large - there was plenty of time and opportunity to visit with others at our table, We did opt for the VIP seats. I got the tickets through Discount Hawaii. The VIP tickets were only a few dollars more than the general seating tickets previously obtained. It was nice to be right up front, but it was small enough that I think you could probably have seen from anywhere.I agree with the earlier comments about the beverage lines. They were initially long and you were not sure which line to get into. Otherwise, very nice Luau :-)

Dancers and food were awesome! Would recommend the VIP seating. Smaller luau was really nice.
