Small Italian restaurant located in a strip mall. the service was excellent. the menu is vast. We tried the rigatoni arabiatta and the chicken saltimboca. The chicken really needed more seasoning. Needed salt pepper garlic and some butter. Arrabiata was flavorful the Pasta aldente. Portions are very fair and perfect for one person. prices reasonable. But just ok.

We love assagio's Kailua. We just recently went to the one in kapolei, where it was very disappointing. All furniture and tablecloths were stained. Seemed like all food dishes were watered down. Everything just seemed like it didn't have taste. They started vacuuming the restaurant while we were still eating!! Clearing off our silverware, and we didn't even order dessert yet. Seems like they were rushing us out by 830 on a Friday. Management needs to keep this place in check

While I have to admit that it doesn't look like a typical Italian restaurant from the East Coast (it looks more like a modern Asian restaurant) the staff and food are amazing. The staff is second to none. And the food is all you could hope for. The veal piccata was melt in your mouth tender and full of flavor. My wife and mother had the chicken & shrimp creamy pesto and couldn't stop praising it. Well worth the trip and a very short drive if you're staying in Ko'Olina.
