We arrived on Saturday the 2nd and checked in around 4:30. We were greeted by Jerrissa Anne. She was simply amazing. It was the easiest check in to a vacation club we've ever had. She is informative, kind, and professional. I hope they have a lot more of her on staff. Then Shannon the bellcap helped us with our huge amount of bags and groceries. There were 6 of us in 2 rooms. He even provided us a list of nearby restaurants. (he is such an asset). We had an oceanview studio in Hale Na'ia and a 2 bedroom. The rooms were well appointed, we were missing a few items and maintenance quickly responded. We tried to shop at Costco but it was full combat in the parking lot. So we headed to Safeway. Sunday we were the pool bright and early and got great seats. The pool security team were so professional and amazing. Shantel especially was kind and helpful. We utilized the poolside servers daily and enjoyed drinks and food. The fish tacos, nachos and ahi tuna melt were a hit! The concierge recommended a nearby sunset cruise on Hawaii Nautical. It was the highlight of our trip. The local crew were awesome. Some folks in our group attended the Tuesday nite luau and we also had massages at Spa by the Sea. Laura was my therapist. It was life changing. Book a massage with her! We met a few ambassadors, such as Jade and Laura. I wish all resorts had ambassadors to talk thru things, answer questions and be so positive. After the weekend crowds left Tuesday morning the pool was so peaceful. Our friends snorkeled and saw turtles and angel fish. The pool was cleaned daily, the resort is so beautiful. If you haven't visited I say BOOK IT Today. we will be back.

We just returned from 8 fabulous nights at Marriott's KoOlina Beach Club. We are timeshare owners at this resort, and each time we return we fall more in love with this resort. We had such an amazing ocean view villa in the Hale Nai'a Tower. This resort offers so much beauty all throughout the property. The lagoons are beautiful, the ponds, water features are just beautiful also. We enjoyed the beach and the pools. We reserved chairs/umbrellas at the beach a few days. There were also plenty of chairs at the beach that did not require a rental, which we enjoyed those as well. There are many pools to choose from that suit your specific needs, relaxation or activities. We love the live music at Longboards. We did dine at Longhi's one night and the view and food were excellent. We used the grills this year for the first time and I must say this was a very relaxing experience. The area is nice and cleaned daily, with new utensils each day. We had a rental car and self-parking was a breeze. We appreciate the new key card method which ensures each guest a parking space. The workout room was nice, clean and offered all the equipment needed for a good workout. The marketplace is a delight to visit. KoOlina is a great location as well. Close enough to all the action if you choose to drive in, but a secluded and relaxing resort. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Overall, we had the most positive experience at our lovely home resort. Highly recommend for families, couples, friends, etc. This is a resort for everyone to enjoy! Mahalo!

I have been to many Marriotts, Hyatts, other hotels and cruises - the activities staff can make or break a trip and the staff here are outstanding! Brittney is incredible and makes every guest feel welcome and helps them have a great time! The pool safety people sometimes take themselves a little too seriously and they were the only negative of the trip. I am not sure how eating a hamburger on the grass was a safety issue but Nettie said it was their policy without being able to explain why.

I ate at Cafe Ko Olina twice when I was staying at Aulani Resort and Spa and oh boy was food good. On my first trip I had shaved ice and my kids loved it. On the second trip I had loco moco and my partner had ASAP. I my loco moco the best I had. Highly recommend to visit this place... at least forbthe loco moco.

Wonderful stay, perfect for families! My kids (4, 8) loved the pools, the beach and all the activities. Restaurants were great and fabulous staff! Rooms are lovely and spacious and comfortable beds. Do know at Ko online you aren’t super close to Honolulu, don’t stay here thinking it’s a quick drive to the city!

Do not let the salespeople convince you to buy a timeshare. The maintaince fees will haunt your children. It's never ending. And you have no control of how high the maintaince will go. The Sales team are like bad used car salesmen. They are your best friends until you decide not to purchase a timeshare. Then they bad mouth you and treat you poorly. Don't purchase Encore Membership Agreement for extra stay. Another scam. As you can tell I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience with the Staff and especially the Salespeople at the KoOlina. Customerservice used to be a hallmark of the Marriott reputation. The luau program was okay and the meal just mediocre. The hotel resturants are overpriced. The pool was fun but overcrowded. Parking was $30 per day. The lagoon is spectacular but you don't have to stay at the resort to enjoy it. In summary, I cannot recommend this resort, buying a timeshare, or purchasing a extra week with Encore Membership. The main attraction are the lagoons and they have public access.

After sending our son back off to college I had a sunset on my mind. Ko' Olina is my go to, it really is my place of joy. It was still early, but avoiding traffic is key so I opted to grab a vegan dish from Cafe Ko' Olina, place of Joy to enjoy later. I have to say it was a gamble, as sometimes they are closed for a wedding but this time the gamble paid off! I've had positive experiences with the food and staff every time I've picked up grinds here. I'll be straight here, there aren't a lot of vegan options but what they do have is ono. I ordered 15 Kinds of Vegetable Vegan Salad and Stir Fry Veggies. I've had these before and the meals are consistent in terms of taste, presentation and quality. You know what I mean, right? Sometimes you go a place and the quality of the meal depends on the chef that shows up that day. That will not happen here. The stir fry veggies were still crisp but also tender, just the right amount of light char. The oil was a little heavy for my preference but it wasn't over the top. Café Ko Olina Place of Joy by Michel's is a cozy option and is extremely reasonably priced. Their midday menu of fresh and flavorful dishes with island flair, popular acai bowls, shave ice, (both of which are huge!) poke bowls, loco moco,, specialty salads, plate lunches and more. Order options a plenty! Counter order, (which is what I've alway done) curbside pick up and there is parking (limited it still good size) and only outside eating space. Next time I'll be sure to share pictures of the parking and outside eating. sorry about that! The only reason I gave four stars and not five is the hit or miss when they are actually open versus closed for a wedding or event. Updating on their website or on Yelp would be excellent. When you eat there, drop me a line and let me know your experience!

Overall our stay here was a good one! This was our first time traveling as new owners celebrating our 10 yr wedding anniversary. We booked an Oceanview room but received a mountain/pool view? When I called the front desk they told me they were at 100% occupancy and could not accommodate us. After an 11 hr flight we just needed sleep. I called a few days later and asked for management (never spoke with them) the person I spoke with stated they would adjust my points , which they did. However, I didnt feel they were very accommodating!! We didnt understand how this could be especially we booked 8 months prior. Other than what was mentioned above, pools were great (always found seating) , the beach was great (rent cabana), Luau wass nice, drinks are expensive, food was pretty good, spa was great! Room was clean but really small (studio)

This is a hidden gem! We had the Shaka poke and the garlic shrimp. Both were excellent. Poke melted in my mouth and the shrimp was so tasty and tender. Highly recommend.

Covid has got the best of this resort… it’s in ruins! Attitudes of staff horrible. We bought a 7 day ocean view room. We are in a floor one level above the path with views of roofs. The refrigerator looks like someone used it for target practice. The furniture looks like it came from a thrift store in bad repair. Dirt and liter everywhere. Just so sad, because this was once my favorite resort! To make things worse, we are being forced to move after 5 days into another room because there was poor communication with the person who booked it. Two reservations, so a relaxing vacation has turned into a nightmare!

I checked out this pop up shop last weekend. It's located in Koolina at the chapel that's there. I think it's near the 2nd lagoon parking lot. This place is here only for a limited time featuring Michel's of Waikiki. They sell gourmet lunch plates and desserts here like shave ice, smoothies, and other sweet treats. I ordered their beef stew with omelette over rice. Their omelette was Japanese style and rice was flavored tomato rice. Overall taste was not bad and presentation was good. There's a few tables to take your take out and eat at here but not much. Great spot to come to for lunch take out after you hit the beach here.

They lied to me. Did not get what I was promised. We were promised 2 large bedroom with 1 bedroom with 2 queen and sofa, and 2nd room with King. We got a small 2 bedroom instead. I talked to them, and they did not change our room. Family of 5 going from CA, it was a very expensive trip. We wanted to have a comfortable place to enjoy our time. We got bed bugs . Had to go buy medication. We were itchy the whole trip. All our body was bitten. My daughter's dress was stolen after 30 minutes it was out on a lounge chair. There is no camera outside and security. Anyone can steal anything. When we checked in, they said they were happy to see us, but when we were checking out, I asked to talk to the supervisor. Randy came out and I explained that we got a wrong room, and got bug bites, stolen dress. I showed him a picture of the bug and showed it to him. I also showed him all the bug bites on my body to him. He just looked at us. He did not even apologize and was rude. The staff is very rude. That is so sad because I went over there with considering of buying a timeshare and I was thinking about it, but after what I saw, I decided not to. From the beginning when they called us about this package, I told them that I want 2 large bedrooms with 2 Queen's in one of them, and. a King in 2nd room. I had to make a reservation almost a year prior. But when we got there they gave us different type of 2 bedroom. That is so sad. This was an expensive trip for us and they ruined it.

Our new favorites at the Cafe: Seafood & Vegetable Cartoccio, Nanban Chicken. Assortment of fresh seafood steamed with veggies in a light and tangy broth. Nanban Chicken is very tender and goes great with the special thousand island sauce. Service is excellent as usual. Highly recommended!

The best shaved ice we tried in Oahu. They use fresh ingredients and the syrup was made from real fruits.

I've been craving to eat their pork katsu curry again so I decided to stop by after work. I did a phone order but still waited another 15 minutes when I got there because they were pretty busy. I ordered the pork katsu curry and the garlic shrimp. Pork katsu curry was on point, crispy and tender. The curry though, is a little spicy so be aware if you don't like spicy foods. Not sure if you could ask to make it mild. But it won't hurt to ask. Anyway, the garlic shrimp was so darn good too! That sauce, wow!!! I don't even know how to describe it because there was so much flavor going on in the sauce! It paired so well with the sun-dried tomatoes that they put in the plate also. It's located near lagoon 2 and they have their own parking lot. They also do have chairs and tables to enjoy your food outside. I noticed that a couple was looking for a spot to sit and the cook was nice enough to bring out a little table and chairs just for them! So if you're in the area, definitely check this place out. The prices aren't outrageous neither.
