The sitting was fairly nice but the mall is very busy. We were able to come in before the Sunday lunch rush. I cannot eat dairy so going to a pizza kitchen is a little bit weird, but the servers were able to work with me to make sure that the dishes I did order didn't have any cheese in them. Overall really cool and I would go back again!Dietary restrictions: I was able to order items that were not pizza, like the salads which I really enjoy. My dietary restrictions are dairy-free. I did see that they were gluten-free options on the menu for those who need that.

Has given me food poisoning more than once due to raw chicken on their plates. Also, the chef changes quite frequently or has an identity crisis every few months because the same menu item will always look different each time.

This review is specifically for their takeout section. Picked up a call ahead order around dinner time. Obviously expected to wait, however did not expect to wait 40 minutes to get my order! Line was out the door. To make things worse, the staff seemed very unorganized and even tried to give me the wrong order. Definitely double check the name and contents before leaving.
CHECK YOUR TAKE OUT ORDERS. These m'fers are notorious for leaving items out. Pretty lame.

My son suggested to the group of five, "Let's eat (lunch) at CPK." Trio tweens chimed, "Yeah, mom, let's eat there. We can get pasta." Two moms shrugged our shoulders and agreed. We're all seated by gracious hostess at opening 11 a.m. My CIL and I shared: Spicy Buffalo Cauliflower Bites: This appetizer packed a punch. Spiciness exudes from cauliflower and light tasting batter. Couldn't tell that we're biting or consuming cauliflower because spiciness masked veggie taste. Even though we dunked each piece in ranch dressing, that combo still made our mouths feel spicy. My CIL ordered soda and I tanked mine down with H2O. Kung Pão Spaghetti w/ Shrimp: Red hot peppers resembled Northern Chinese cuisine packed a double punch. Wished there were a few more pieces of shrimp. Noodles tasted al dente. I had to add a little bit of butter in the spaghetti just to calm my palate. What were we thinking? Spice on spice. Hahaha! We all take calculated risks in life. Our Server delivered and got our orders right. She offered a card in a sealed CPK pouch for us to use next time we dine in. Very thoughtful gesture. This location is spacious. Restrooms located inside restaurant. Free parking in Ka Makana Ali'i.

Seated in the bar area ordered Chicken Picatta and Plank Salmon. Exceptional service by Karley this go around (sp Amber)!!! Bar is always preffered seating because Da Ladies are Da Bomb!! Need i say more.

Terrible service and sub par food. Came in causally to have a nice simple meal and 45 minutes later (after a family who arrived after us received their food) to get cold, very crusty pizza and raw chicken in my salad, no offer of cheese with my pasta Will not recommend to any of my guests or friends. So sad - it used to be one of our favorites in the neighborhood.

California Pizza Kitchens Kapolei branch. Located in the Kamakani Ali'i Mall next to the Food Court. They have an excellent assortment of new entree's along with the Famous Favorites. Although our server was busy she did a good job taking care of customers. They have inside and outside dining options. Contemporary design no frills. We ordered our favorite appetizer the Spinach and Artichoke with multi colored Tortilla chips. We also had the burger and pizza. Unfortunately the food was served at room temperature which was surprising since we were one of 3 customers who were seated first. We also ordered a Thin Crust and were served a Hand Tossed. Although it was room temperature the taste and texture were good. The Smashed Potatoes served with the burger were delicious. Worth a try if you're in the area.
