Monkeypod is a great restaurant and bar to grab a bite to eat. We are staying at the Aulani Resort and this location is just a 5 minute walk across the street.The menu ranges from seafood, to salads to tacos.On this trip we tried the he fresh fish sandwich (mahi) and the bulgogi beef tacos.Both were very good.Service was fast and friendly. Prices are expensive, but that is expected on the island.Definitely worth a visit.

A bit expensive but would still recommend! The poke tacos were fantastic. The kale salad was also really delicious. I also got the fish tacos which were fine, but could use more sauce / cream. Did try the mango pie that was totally worth it.

Nice place to relax and get a good bite to eat with some well-made drinks when the sun sets. Safer area of the island where you don't have to worry about your car. Good menu. Close to shopping to round out your stop. We always stop by when we're in town.

It felt like our table was forgotten because we didn't order drinks. Food came out lukewarm but was still alright. Not a great place for kids.Kid-friendliness: Our server left us hanging and we waited for a solid 40 minutes for our food to come. Nothing to entertain the kids and they got wrestles. If you have other options, go there.

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary with our lovely daughter, and I have to say the whole experience was awesome! The food was very delicious! The service was amazing! Our waitress, Alicia, was so helpful and friendly! She had great advice and better suggestions! She made our visit so enjoyable! The atmosphere was casual but very professional, comfortable, and inviting. Being a Saturday night, however, means it was extremely busy. The meal, the time, the conversation, the atmosphere and both my beautiful wife and daughter! It was a great night!!

Monkeypod serves up the best Mai Tais I’ve ever had, hands down—the real highlight of my visit. While their pizza might be on some top lists, I found it pretty basic and not quite up to the hype. On the flip side, they nailed the fish dishes; both the fish tacos and burgers were solid choices. I was pleasantly surprised by their kale salad, especially with the dressing on the side—it was really enjoyable. But, circling back, it’s their Mai Tais that steal the show and are an absolute must-try.
