I am always on a hunt for some tasty and refreshing Halo Halo! This place had a picture of a Halo Halo on their store front window so I figured,"why not give it a try?" I am so glad I did. The Halo Halo was nicely sized for the price and it came with ube ice cream and a wafer. It really hit the spot for the hot afternoon! Great little gem hidden the middle of a quiet neighborhood. Everything that I ordered was tasty, especially the lumpia, which were served piping hot! I ordered the Adobo and Gisantes combo plate and a few pork/beef lumpia. The flavors were rich, not too oily or salty, and the vegetables weren't mushy, which tells me that the dishes weren't simmering for a pronged period. Oh, and these were generous portions too! We got a bunch of lumpia's and they were really good (pork and banana). If you think you are driving into a residential community, it's because you are. No nonsense good home cooked food.
