We went to their Sunday brunch buffet and it was so good. Everything was vegan and included coffee, juice, dessert and a really good spread of food. You need to make reservations but it was definitely worth going.

I think it has changed ownership or something compared to 2 years ago.
Food taste and portion size was def not the same. 2 years ago we got the pineapple rice and tacos, which we loved.
Came back for same this year. Unfortunately, the pineapple was much smaller this year and the rice was actually not fried rice, it seemed like some curry rice, which we were not fans of. They removed tacos from the menu (please bring them back, they were amazing) so I went with falafel wrap this time. It was a bit dry IMO, not the moku-roots standard I was expecting tbh! The falafel had weird chunks from time to time, not sure what that was. And I think it had a bit too much clove or something. Too much flavor bomb for me.
Not sure if we'll be coming here again sadly!

Just okay, not as good as I was expecting. The avocado toast with strawberry and balsalmic was extremely soggy. Sunday brunch special Acai Bowl was just decent. I also tried the sushi-rito, and it was very bland. The food looks very pretty, though! The restaurant is in a convenient area with a lot of parking, and service is fine.

We had pretty high expectations based on the reviews we had read, but unfortunately were extremely disappointed. While we liked the concept, it’s poorly executed. the vegan food this restaurant offers is pretty bland and tasteless. We ordered the taro burger, the falafel wrap, the moku loco rice and the yuka fries. Besides the terribly small portion size, all the dishes tasted the same, didn’t have sufficient salt or spice & were extremely bland. This isn’t what vegan food generally tastes like, and I’m not confident the menu was designed by someone who has experienced the culinary richness of vegan food & cooking.
Additionally, their service towards us wasn’t great either.. not a single employee came to check on us.. they provided 2 cloth napkins when there were four of us. You can’t always expect customers to always ask for everything at the restaurant .. we won’t recommend it!

I’ve been coming to Moku Roots for years and it used to be my favorite spot but it’s not what it once was. The service, quality, quantity and display of the food has continually become unsatisfactory while the prices continue to go up. I’m underwhelmed and disappointed and have overspent on absolutely the smallest of portions. I hope to see improvement in this establishment!
