I used to go to the movie theater and eat there, like Cool Cats cafe, and get a Burger and a malt, also loved to paint the koi fish that swam there... And check out all the interesting people.
This small entertainment center on Front St. in Lahaina houses the only movie theater in the area and some of our favorite restaurants including the Cool Cat for burgers (I recommend "The Duke") in a fun movie themed sports bar environment, Captain Jack's for a full service seafood dinner with reasonable prices, at least for Hawai'i, and Down the Hatch for a great seafood meal and a great bar scene. We stopped here before we hopped on to our dinner cruise. Lots of shops, singers, restaurants, bars...it's a tourist trap but a great variety of wares and things to do. This is across the street from the courthouse and a very old Banyan tree.
