Normally, food here is pretty good. But today, I'm very disappointed. I ordered Chicken Katsu curry togo, and they gave me Chicken katsu that was made a while ago and been sitting there. The meat was hard and a bit too tough to eat. I paid the same price as everybody else. Not like I'm getting a discount. I probably won't go back for a while. Oh, then I called to complain and she said "yes? Anything else?" Ah..yes, you gave me an old piece of chicken. She said "I heard you." Apparently she didn't hear me. I finally said, I paid just like everyone else and I expect to get the same fresh made food. Please don't do that again. She finally said "oh sorry." So I'm gonna reduce from 3 stars I gave earlier to one

Decided to explore something new in the area and stumbled upon this excellent establishment. Visited post-lunch hours, so it wasn't overly crowded. A down-to-earth restaurant offering delightful katsu curries and ramen. The food arrived surprisingly quickly. We tried the spam, chicken, and shrimp katsu curries, all delicious, though the crunch was a bit hard. The combo sets are a great choice; we went for Combo A. The fried rice and mini ramen were spot on. If you crave ramen or curry, this spot is a must-try.

The lady in front is friendly. That's about all I have to say about New Genki Ramen. I tried their beef curry with a side of gyoza. The gyoza wasn't bad at all, but the beef curry.... Why is it sweet??? It almost tastes fruity. I didn't want to judge them on one item, so I went back to try their fried rice. Good ramen shops have good curry, good fried rice and good gyoza. The fried rice comes with a choice of beef, chicken, pork or for a little extra, shrimp. I opted for chicken. Well, I gotta say, it was filling! But unfortunately, nothing to write home about, either. It was a big "okay". I personally think a little salt wouldn't hurt. I must admit, the tidbits of chicken was very tender. Probably thighs? A ramen shop is not a ramen shop if they don't have good ramen. So far, I haven't tried theirs. But in my opinion, fried rice and curry is a LOT easier to make than a bowl of ramen. It takes passion to make a great ramen bowl. I don't feel it here. I probably won't be back unless I'm REALLY starving. I'll get the gyoza meal when that ever happens.

Our go-to ramen spot for years and it has never let us down! We typically pick-up but decided to dine-in before watching a movie. Seated quickly and servers were prompt. Food came out as it was made! I have a few regulars, one being the mapo tofu ramen. Tons of tofu and I like how they dilute it with broth so the sauce isn't overpowering. Very filling!

If I could I would give this place a NO STARS ...Very poor service and rude owner (older woman), she asked me to wait outside in the hot sun for my takeout order and said only dining-in people can stay inside...hey I paid for my food just like everyone else...they don't appreciate their customers so ok, I won't ever be a customer, I'll seek another Raman restaurant. Mind you, I placed the phone order 30 minutes before I got there and when I arrived there it still wasn't even started so I had to wait, that was a waste of time. By the way food tasted bland yuck!

Decided to have lunch at this Ramen shop located in the Mililani Town center. I believe this was another Ramen shop before and they changed names . My wife got their Gyoza Udon she said it didn't have to much taste . It was a light shoyu base with 3 pieces Gyoza and one char Siu . The udon noodles was ok . I had their Mabo Tofu over rice it was a nice portion although it had a lot of sesame oil . We also ordered 2 Diet Pepsi which it didn't come to us until we were about to leave . When paying the bill I told the owner that make sure she took off the 2 drinks from our bill because we received it late . She apologized to me saying the waitress is training .I replied not a problem.

I've eaten here as a middle schooler throughout high school and up until now. I love the chicken katsu curry rice. Nothing beats a dish that reminds me of home.
