I miss when blimpie's were just as popular as other sub places. I have always preferred Blimpie over subway. The ankeny location is clean every time I have gone in and the staff are efficient and friendly. The food seems fresh and I haven't had any issues with my food. There are lots of sub places in town. While Blimpie might not be my number one, it'll definitely remain in my rotation!

In Ankeny, visiting. Didn't know that any Blimpies still were around, in our home area they were our go to sub shop until they all closed down years ago. My meatball sandwich was good, not great; family liked their turkey sandwiches.

Ate here for nostalgia awhile ago, it was exactly as I remember! I thought the blimpie name had faded from view when the company had closed a location in my hometown, but these guys hit it right out of the park! It's like I was in 5th grade again picking up a sandwich before heading out to baseball practice and I tell you what, being reminded of that time with these guys here in Ankeny was awesome.
