This place is absolutely delightful! Firstly, the tea (peaches and cream) and food (ham and cheese quiche) were delicious. The employees were lovely and there was great service. There's also a lot of fun tea and accessories for tea for sale. I was able to get a great set for a friend. The prices are also very fair. I highly recommend dropping by for a relaxing pot of tea with a friend or two.

An original Tea Cellar customer here since the beginning when they were actually in the "cellar." Whether it's a pot for one or a pot for two, a hot chocolate or maybe a latte, the Tea Cellar has an offering to warm you up on a cold winter day. Want it on ice? Or enjoy tea lemonade? They can accommodate! The tea offerings are fantastic! They have a great selection of treats to pair with your tea experience as well sourced from local bakers. You will love the cobalt blue accents in their decor! There is usually a buzz of activity in this popular venue in Cedar Falls. Ps. The service is amazing!!!

I've never been to Tea Cellar, but I was fortunate to try their tea when someone gifted me some of it. Shortly before I ran out, I placed an $80 order on their website and received the tea quickly! There was a missing item from my order so I emailed them and not 4 minutes later, Justeen emailed me back and said she was going to priority ship the remaining part. Big fan of their teas (Scottish Caramel, Honey Almond) and now I'm a big fan of their customer service!

Thankful for this small business and the ability to buy their product and make it at home/work.

I ordered a mug online from these folks to replace a favorite that had been broken (only place I could find the exact mug). When I opened the box, it just made me smile. They sent the mug (obviously) and my packing slip had a hand written thank you and a suggestion on how much tea to use. Additionally there was a business card, a book mark, a cute little guide card on how to make a proper cup of tea and the supplies you would need for it, a sample packet of their Christmas tea (which smells like Christmas in a cup and I can’t wait to try) as well as a cookies and creme Hershey’s kiss and a piece of toffee. This just completely made my day. I thought it was so sweet and just that extra touch of friendliness that takes it beyond just a business transaction. If I weren’t in Massachusetts I would try their brick-and-mortar location; I’m actually really sad that I can’t.

Absolutely loved this tea house. Got to drink several blends I've never seen before that were great. Atmosphere just made you want to hangout. Had to go back each day during my stay in CF. Purchased bags and bags of loose leaf teas to take with me. Owner did an amazing job creating this place.

Loved everything about this place! Great value and friendly service. I enjoyed being able to pick out my cup and they had cream, honey and sugar to accompany the tea. All on a tray that makes the whole thing feel fancy and fun. We went twice in two days because we just enjoyed it so much. The meat and veggie quiches were really delicious. We also enjoyed the almond stick and snickerdoodle cookie. Love the $1 sample containers. Such a great way to try a few before committing to a bigger bag. They had a huge selection of flavors, so really something for everyone. My only complaint is it’s not located where I live!

I want to rate it one star because my soon to be wife will be spending a lot of time and money here. However; the service was great, the cinnamon rolls were delicious, and the fiancée was happy.

A relaxing tea house. One of my favorite places to sit and enjoy. Order a cup, sit and relax, or buy your loose-leaf and enjoy at home. The shop sells pastries if you need a bite. i believe they ship teas ordered online, but if you're in the Cedar Falls area, please visit and enjoy the atmosphere. Not only here specifically, but the whole small town downtown. The staff is very friendly, humble and helpful if you need to narrow down a selection or have a tea question. personal favorite: The Tea Cellar White. While wheelchair accessible, their ramp is pretty steep. Their restrooms are plenty large.

I graduated from UNI a little over a year ago and I only discovered this place a few months before my graduation. Now in the West Des Moines area and can’t tell you how many times I’ve wished I knew of a place like this down here. If they ever extend down to the Des Moines area they can count me as a customer.A pot of tea, cozy atmosphere, with a book sounds AMAZING.
