Ok, since reviewing this last, the QCA was blessed with the opening of its own Costco. So, since then... Costco is better for gas. 18 pumps vs like 6. Parking is hell. Seriously, Costco has a way better parking lot. As far as prices, well some things are cheaper, others are not. Sams did step up and remodel, just before Costco got here. I like their butcher section, where you can get what you want in the quantity you want. And sushi... they have sushi and Costco does not. I still...read full review
The place is pretty clean. The isles are always stocked. The only problem is the long lines. I understand they can't control when customers are going to surge in, but the last time I was there the lines were all open, and things were just moving very poorly. Occasionally you have to show your card at the door, but its selective. The employees pick and choose who to 'card.' Thankfully they have the scan and go. When ever i come to town my grandmother and i always go to Sams. She likes the fruit and veggie trays. The meat butcher recognized her and came out to wish her happy holidays. Great customer service. Keep up the good work.
