When I say dive bar, I mean it in the best sense! Tucked into an unassuming house in an eastside neighborhood, this bar & grill is clean and bright on the inside, with friendly service and tasty food. The lunch crowd runs from blue collar to coat and tie. Great little spot for a hot sandwich and a beer!
Walked the mile from the exhibition center on a Saturday evening with a hungry family. It was during a their normal business hours but the place was vacant, closed. The only thing worse than bad food? If you go, drive. Neighborhood had the kids worried on the walk.
The food was awesome. Fast and friendly service. I plan on returning on a Friday to try steak night. I live by the fairgrounds and have tried the food at several of the neighborhood bars and this pub by far has the best hot sausage sandwich and onion rings in this area. I was extremely happy with this little dive. I recommend it to anyone who likes to eat!
