The Royal Mile is an "English Pub" that really wants to be an Irish Pub. They should change the name in go all in for the ☘️. I say this as a compliment.Lots of great whiskey options and they know how to pour a great pint of Guinness and the servers have all been friendly.

Walked in straight away greeted and seated welcomed to the establishment asked if wanted anything special to drink. Given menu ordered food piping hot which I like. Food was fantastic service was fantastic server even sat down with us and chatted for a while. Great atmosphere more of the British style pub that we like.

Had the cheeseburger dipped in cheese with chips (fries) and was really good. Sat at the bar and talked Spanish medieval history with the bartender. Great guy. Will be back. Also football.

EDIT: weekly customer, my favorite food on this earth was their Tikka sauce with a side of naan to dip. One bald bartender with the beard up charged me from the normal $8-$10 to $15. At that point, I paid one of the servers to get me the exact recipe- and boy am I glad to have done that. If anyone wants the recipe to the better curry sauce, and not the brown gelatinous sweet curry they have now- read below:Butter - 4 ozGarlic, minced -1/4 cupShallot, minced - 1/2 cupWhite wine / cooking - 1 cupCrushed red pepper - 1 tspCoriander, ground - 1/2 cupCumin - 1/4 cupPaprika - 1/4 cupGaram Masala - 1/4 cupTomato Sauce - 96 ozHeavy Cream - 3 quartsSalt, kosher - 4 tspI WAS still frequenting the establishment weekly, as it's more cost and time efficient for me to pay you. As the price wasn't set, the cheaper I'd see the ticket ($8-$10), I'd tip 100%+. If the price was higher($11-$12), I'd tip around 75%. Now that Ivw cut ties, I feel comfortable sharing my process. Many servers can attest to this, and because I've interacted with so many- and they've shown such kindness over the last five years- I'm disappointed to say I will no longer be eating at Royal Mile, what was once my fav downtown spot.I stuck with you through the closure of vaudeville, but that disgusting jello curry you have currently just won't cut it.

A 3.5 overall. It has the look of a traditional Americanized Irish/British pub but lacked the camaraderie one would hope to find. the food was decent. The grilled asparagus was nice and crispy, the Steak and Guinness Pie was good. The mashed taters were a little on the cold side but decent. The sticky toffee pudding was very good; could be better with ice cream; salted caramel or vanilla. The disappointment came when I was given a choice between a pint and 20oz. Draught Guinness and it was a pint glass with a thick head ......and consequently, a short and sloppy pour. The second was a little better, but, still only a pint. The server was a pleasant and attentive young lad.Overall, it's a place I would consider frequenting to see if familiarity would make for better service.Kid-friendliness: Not a place to take kidsWheelchair accessibility: Easier with the outdoor patio.
