Working with the team at the Temple for Performing Arts on our event was truly a highlight of the many venues I’ve worked with in my lifetime. Gratitude is streaming in from so many who attended. Many thanks to the team for their meaningful work!

We came here with family for a graduation dinner on a Saturday night. Our waitress was Diana who was terrific. She made the dinner run very smoothly although we were a big and highly distractable group (I did say family no?) I had the tenderloin which was nicely medium rare as requested. Calamari and brussels sprouts were tasty appetizers. I would be happy to return to Centro anytime.

We were in Iowa looking at colleges and chose Centro for dinner one night. The menu is quite broad, giving people with all tastes something to chose from. The salads were outstanding (seriously) and each of our entrees were too. Our daughter's, the spicy sausage rigatoni was the best of the three. My husband chose the chicken saltimbocca, which was prepared very similarly to a chicken marsala was super flavorful. I had the ricotta gnocchi which was tasty too. We shared the flourless chocolate torte with raspberry sauce (yum) and the sundae. If we are ever back in Des Moines I would definitely go there again.

Located at 10th and Locust streets downtown Des Moines. They offer indoor and outdoor dining. I sat in the bar with a view of 10th and Locust streets. I found the food and service excellent. I had crab cakes, cavatelli and cheesecake. I took half back home with me. A nice place, I recommend them. On street parking.

Great place! Acoustics are mediocre and get a lot of traffic sounds so beware if taking an audition there
