Had a delicious lunch here - beef skewers were great and Lopo noodles (get extra bok choy). The restaurant was very quiet and there was only one other table occupied.

We came in and they were having an outage with the Square system for cards. We were able to order online and still pay that way!The food was delicious!! I had the spicy beef rice noodle, husband has the sesame chicken which he said is the best he’s had, and we shared the beef skewers which were really good!!The waitress suggested the dragon breath dish with pulled noodles however the description of “Anus destroyer” did not sound great to deal with when we had an hour drive home LOLService was very friendly, quiet little restaurant that we would’ve missed if we hadn’t been looking online for places to eat. Highly recommend

If I could give a negative 5 stars, I would. I made a reservation for dinner on Saturday night, August 12, at 7:30. This was a special birthday dinner. I received both email and text messages from "Ian Huang" confirming and reminding me of my appointment, up to 30 minutes before. When we arrived at 7:25, I was told that they did not have my reservation, because I didn't email them. They were emailing me! I showed the girl at the counter my text messages, and she said their "system" must be bad. No attempt to compensate or make amends - discount? gift card? maybe another booking? Very bad business practice - any small token could have prevented this bad review. I get the sense that the people running this place do not know what they are doing and should stick to a food cart or take out only. Will never return, would NOT recommend. DO NOT GO.

Amazing food. WOW. Authentic Chinese food has never tasted so good. The menu is in mandarin or Cantonese. I don’t speak either so I’m not sure which, but that’s all I need to know that it’s authentic.

I went here for lunch because everything else was closed. I ordered the duck noodle soup and asked for water. Cashier said that they don't give out water, and I had to buy one of the sugary Chinese drinks for $5, so I decided to go without. A few minutes later, a Doordasher came in and asked for some water. They gave it to him immediately. I don't even mind paying for water, but don't try to trick your customers into buying a drink they don't want to make an extra buck. The food was okay. I ordered duck soup. The broth and the noodles were good, but the duck was mostly bone. After finishing the entire meal, I had maybe eaten a teaspoon of meat. If I wanted to eat just noodles and broth, I could have bought Ramen from Walmart for $0.99. I'm all in favor of supporting local businesses, but this place just isn't worth the price

Tried the dry pot and mapo tofu and both were pretty good. The dry pot depends what they have out on display.Food is delicious but a bit pricy.

I was in Iowa City for work and wanted to try something new. JiangHu Asian Street Food seemed to have a big menu with lots of dishes not served at typical Asian restaurants. Count me in!I dined at the tail end of lunch service, so the restaurant was empty. Service was great - attentive, but not pushy. Food came out fast and fresh. I had the Yo Po Noodle - hand pulled noodles with garlic, chili, oil, and spring onion. The noodles were wide, medium thick, and delightfully chewy. The sauce created by the combination of garlic, oil, and chili was savory with a mild heat that built throughout the dish but never got to the point of being overpowering. The spring onions provided some contrast to the richness of the dish.My only critique was that the printed menus were a bit sparse in information. Names of dishes were listed, but there were no descriptions and very few photos. Thankfully, the online menu had a photo and description of each dish.Overall, a fantastic little restaurant with great food!

Had spicy beef noodles from here last year, amazing. The broth and noodles with all the add-ins had us talking about that bowl all year! Came back this year and had Singapore noodles and wonton soup. LARGE portions. The noodles are curry based, loaded with veggies, chicken and shrimp. The wontons in the soup were silky pockets of flavor that burst in my mouth. So good and fun to eat! We will be talking about this meal until we return to try something new. Sooo good!!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

The food is delicious and fresh. No complaints to speak of. Food has always been spot on to what we ordered, hot, fresh, delicious, doesn't seem to have msg (or at least not a lot? Idk). Also, a long with many of the more Americanized options there are many more authentic dishes that are tasty and worth a try ?Vegetarian options: Of courseParking: Use the parking ramp over by hotel Vetrio and bread garden. Or there is an Alley next to the place that you can use to run in and outWheelchair accessibility: Yes it is

Our absolute favorite in town. The hand pulled noodles are a hit in our house even with the kids! The only not ideal order we have had was when I ordered a brown sauce and asked for it to be shellfish/oyster sauce free, and ended up still having an allergic reaction so they clearly still used oyster sauce. Avoid the brown sauce if you have a shellfish allergy. Otherwise the food is always tasty. I crave the sesame balls and noodles frequently!

We were looking for a quick lunch while in Iowa City and stumbled across Jianghu Asian street food. It was delicious. We got the beef skewers, which were well seasoned however they were a little spicy for my husband. We also got the BBQ duck and pork rice, I recommend mixing the pork belly with the rice as it makes a delicious sauce. Overall it was a pleasant experience and er will be back in the future.

This place has great authentic Chinese food. I can't stop thinking about their hand pulled noodles. Everything on the menu is spot on. My only problem is there are a few dishes I would love to see on the menu (dan dan noodles) but I don't want them to sacrifice quality like a lot of Chinese spots do. If you like real Chinese food, check this place out.

Based purely on food quality this would be a 4. However. The bowl shown below where u weight your own VEGETABLES cost me 29$. Seriously. That’s a the dost a. Large bone in rib-eye at local chain steakhouse. I thought about jus walking out before eating but manners got the best of me. Hate feeling ripped off and there’s no indication how much weight your own is going to cost u. Poor value decent food.
