Have the pork tacos and escargot! Froy is a very friendly server. The owner was there greeting people - she’s so kind and friendly. And - the atmosphere is to die for. Best place in Okoboji!!!
We found this place online and the excellent reviews are absolutely true. We were extremely impressed with this quaint but beautifully appointed bar and restaurant. The menu is small but what they turn out is very well executed. The flavors of the meatballs were good, the sugar needed a little more flavor and balance but was still very good. Uncomfortable room, no chair to relax in. Two by four wood headboard. Sharp edged 2 foot x 2 foot metal night stand. Chair by writing area was hard metal. The rod for hanging clothes was over the counter where the fridge and microwave were. Impossible to hand anything longer than a shirt. The overall ambiance was of a cellar .Why people are giving four or five stars is beyond me. Though I will say I peeked into the “suite” rooms and I saw a couch.
