Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen

I am only putting the mandatory one star. This was the worst dinning experience I have ever had. Downright awful. My daughter's and I had come in 10 minutes after they opened for the day. We were excited as we had never had Popeyes before. The chicken was pretty much non existent, inside a thick coating of batter that was white, not golden. The butterfly shrimp was not butterfly shrimp. Everything we ordered was cold or slightly warm. One of my girls got a chicken sandwich and the bottom bun was full of crumbled up breading from the sandwich like it had been sitting for some time as it was soggy. And the biscuits were dry, dense, and cold. Having only been open 10 minutes, our food should not Having been sitting that long, even if they prep some of it. The restaurant was also not clean, the bathrooms smelled like mold, tables were dirty. Staff was not rude, but not friendly either. For three meals, small and medium size spent 34 dollars to throw it in the trash. Unfortunately, this has ruined Popeyes for me entirely and I won't try another one.

These guys only had two workers and still got our food out relatively fast. The manager was awesome and even threw in an extra tender for our wait. Great atmosphere, very apologetic for the wait, (which wasn’t even long), and were super super nice the whole time. Love you guys, thank you for everything you do!!!

I have never in all my life seen a fast food place ran as badly as the Popeyes in Sioux City are ran. Absolutely abysmal waiting times. Disgusting crew members. Filthy lobbies. Filthy kitchens. Always out of food. Do not eat here.

it’s genuinely mind blowing how insanely slow you guys are. it should be illegal to be THIS SLOW

They have long wait times but other than that it’s pretty good. I recommend their sauced boneless wings

The employees actively hide the napkins from customers because they don't want the customers to use more than number of napkins they deem fit.

Carry out order took 20 minutes to prepare. The 4 person crew were lethargic and wondered around aimlessly.
And appeared to have not received satisfactory training. Food was ok when we finally received it.

There was bearly anyone there but they made us pull foward and we waited 20 minutes no joke. I finally went inside and the employee said his coworker was ignoring him and he couldn't figure out about my order. The one who gave me my food was pretty nice but the service was just unexpected. I'm glad customer support was understanding and gave me a refund for the food that was messed up but still fair warning don't go here.

There is no one in the parking lot, nor is there anyone in the store you proceed through the drive-thru. You pay for your wings and then you are informed that it will take approximately 7 minutes to prepare and then it will take 20 minutes.

We went for a late lunch and had two mobile/online app orders to pick up. At the drive thru when we gave the first name they told us if we need to order more we need to place another order we need to come inside. I said, “No I am not placing another order, but we have a second mobile/online app order to pick up as well” and I gave them the second name. They told us to pull around to the front and they would bring it out. No big deal waiting a few minutes, at least it will be fresh. They were just 2 cars ahead of us in the drive thru and some cars in the parking lot, but not packed like they were super busy. Finally our order comes out and the woman bringing it says, “next time we tell you to come inside, you need to come in and order especially when we are in a rush.” I said, “We didn’t need to place another order, we just needed to pick up 2 orders.” She then says, “you were asked to come inside and refused.” I relied, “I didn’t refuse, I just didn’t have another order to place.” Her rude attitude and customer service skills or lack of did send me over the edge and really deserves 0 stars. However the food was great and very fresh and deserves 5 stars. Therefore only giving 3 stars over all due to the horrible customer service we received.

Workers were totally unprofessional. The food, if you can believe it, was worse than the service.
