The food here is good, and it is a huge location so you can sit at a communal table or a separate high top. Girlfriend had the Nashville hot fries. She had had them before and they were great, and a TON of food. I had the biscuits and gravy and the gravy had just enough spice and flavor to it to make it interesting. Biscuits were thick and tasty as well. Not a huge portion, but enough. The bacon was pretty average though. Not thick cut or anything. The beers here are the real story though. All their beers are great! If you're in Waterloo, it is definitely worth checking out.

Fun atmosphere w casual fare. Friendly attentive service. We did the beer hall seating w QR code tab. Easy and prompt delivery of our food and beverages. Tacos and flatbreads were good. Best pretzel EVER. Live music was fabulous (UNI jazz bands )

Excellent food, excellent service. We stopped here because it was ranked fairly high on Yelp and it was a great choice! They have a high variety of beers and their food choices are just different enough that it was interesting but still enjoyable. I had the Autumn Grilled Cheese (Swiss, smoked cheddar, pickled apples, prosciutto, cherry balsamic jam). Also a very fun atmosphere with several seating options. Great place!
Trying to figure how this place has 4.4 stars, and they cleaned all the tables around me and didn't realize for 15-20 minutes, my glass was empty.

I should have read the reviews before going there this past Saturday. We ended up leaving without buying anything. We went there to watch a college football game, eat, and have a few beers. They were unable to pull up the game we wanted, which was disappointing & unbelievable; they don't have ESPN+? And it was an Iowa school? C'mon. I wanted a beer. The girl who brought us water could not apparently take our order. By now I'm pissed. We were told we had to use a QR code to access the menu to order food AND beer. I said, "Screw this." I'm 61 years old. I want to order food and a beer and have it brought to me. I am not about to use some stupid code and partake in some sort of self-serve BS. I like the human connection with a friendly, good-natured server. I will not be going back.

Nice brewery with spacious seating inside and patio. Fish and chips is delicious. Cod is fried with crispy skin outside and moist white meat inside. Fries could be more seasoned and crispier.
