Recently went to this cute lil restaurant and it was fantastic! It has a deli inside that you can buy all kind of food and drinks from all over Germany to take home to fix. It also has a small restaurant that was fabulous! They have 8-10 items that are available including a huge Bavarian pretzel that 2-3 people can share. I myself tried the schnitzel sandwich on a pretzel bun and it was fantastic. I washed it down with a cold Octoberfest beer from the tap! They have 8 German beers on tap. There is also a Biergarten out back when the weather warms up. I highly recommend this place and will be coming back soon!!

Fantastic authentic German food. The schnitzel w/pommes is the best we've ever had. They also carry my husband's favorite beer, the Weihenstephaner Korbinian. We picked up a number of German treats from their grocery area as well.

The Giant pretzels are a must try, boasting a perfect balance of soft, doughy interior and crispy, golden exterior, served with a tangy mustard sauce or cheese sauce. Pair it with a glass of Kolsch for the ultimate indulgence. The Schnitzel sandwich is bursting with flavor accompanied by a generous serving of sauerkraut. This deli is an escape to Germany, with its authentic cuisine, and welcoming atmosphere, and extensive selection of German Beers. Whether you’re a longtime fan of German fare or a curious newcomer , a visit to this hidden gem is sure to leave you craving more.Prost!

Your German headquarters in Boise! I stopped in for lunch but they have a large selection of German food and beer to bring home. I ordered the Rueben with a side of potato salad. I would recommend asking them if they can cut your Reuben... it came with a knife but in cutting mine, I squished half my sandwich and ingredients where everywhere on the plate. Food was good. Seating indoors on a bad weather day can be challenging. There is additional outdoor seating. I would arrive early or late for lunch if crunched for time. Food was good.

The first thing the person asked me after I ordered a to go order was “How much of a tip would you like to leave?” Bought my German mother a gift card for Christmas. I went in today to buy a lunch for her to take home because she’s homebound. Some numbers rubbed off the card. The card was totally readable with the scan on the back. They refused to honor the card even though there was over $40 on the card still. They said there’s nothing they could do for me. We have been going here for 40 years on this location for my mom. Last time I will ever go to this place. Unbelievable.

Generous portions, tasted great! Wish I were sitting in the German countryside to enjoy this beer!
Excellent food but mediocre service! You place your order up front and they bring the food to your table. We ordered a variety of things (4 items), which took a very long time to come out, like 40-45 minutes. There was only party of 2 and a party of 4 ahead of us. They do have a disclaimer sign saying "the food is cooked to order, and the busier it is, the longer the wait." However this is no excuse to make your guests wait an excessive amount of time and logistics needs to be improved. The employees were very unfriendly and seemed reluctant to be working. When we asked for extra plates/utensils to share the food, the lady only brought 1 plate and 1 fork when there was 3 of us, so I had to ask for more, which led to even more negative vibes. I didn't order a beer initially with the food, but since it was taking a while for the food to come out, I decided to get one, and went up to the front to order it. The employee there also didn't seem happy to be taking my order and rudely asked to see my ID. Schnitzel sandwich - Freshly fried, crispy, and juicy/moist schnitzel served in a bun with lettuce and tomatoes. Simple but delicious. Ruben sandwich - Probably one of the best Ruben sandwiches I've had! Great flavor, loaded with meat, sauerkraut and a healthy amount of mustard. The sauerkraut does have some sort of black seeds/berries added to it, I think they might be juniper berries? Not something I've had in a Ruben before. I liked it, but it could be a strong flavor for others. Bratwurst I ordered the bratwurst off the à la carte menu, thinking it was just going to be the sausage, but was pleasantly surprised it came served in a bun topped with mustard! Great brat! Flavorful and good texture. Corn chowder - My least favorite thing I ordered. Nothing really special about it, more cream than corn flavor. Beer - Schneider Weisse Aventinus - Ordered this beer on draft. I'm definitely not a beer connoisseur so when in doubt I just pick the one on the menu with the highest ABV (lol). It was smooth, rich, and crisp. Was tempted to order another! Overall it's a nice and quaint little restaurant/deli/store! They sell a bunch of imported goods/groceries and beers. Fun to look around while waiting for the food.

What a brilliant little deli, with some of the best beer taps as a bonus! The Schnitzel Sandwich was perfectly seasoned and breaded, and the pork juicy and flavorful. Easily could be split between two adults! The Rueben sandwich was 9/10, with the only hiccup being the bread. It was a little too greasy and over grilled on one side, and I do prefer a rye with more fennel and caraway, but that's a personal choice... not a negative on what is offered up at the deli. It's still close to a perfect sandwich. The corned beef and homemade sauerkraut was the best I've ever tried! Period. I will definitely be returning soon!Danke!!!
