Every week, at the Boise Farmers Market, I look for Kristi, Emilee and that VW bus that looks like it was infused with sunshine, love, butterscotch and cream. Dough Babe is my favorite bakery at the BFM and the market has some amazing bakeries. Today, I heard it was their last market day this season. I was sad, but thrilled to see on FB they have a shop called Flour Child! I will stop by and recommend you to my friends and family. Dough Babe is the best and ran by the nicest people.

I absolutely loved my wedding cake and cupcakes. So easy people can grab and go. This cake was my vision come to life i sent them a picture with some drawing on it and explained to them what i wanted. This is exactly it! Thank you so much for doing such an amazing job and being so kind and sweet. I only meet with you ladies for a second of my big day back in October and i really appreciate all the hard work you put into this cake and cupcakes . You ladies did an incredible job. I also can’t get over how amazing the flavor was. I went with one of there specialty flavors and it was pumpkin spice with spiced cream cheese frosting and it was so good. Cake was so soft and so were the cupcakes. Thank you again for making my wedding cake and making it look so amazing.

They have so many different flavor options for both cake and frosting, I think every single person alive could find something to love. I also adore how they offer fun floral flavors as they went perfectly with our garden wedding. My husband also said they were amazing and so kind when they came by to drop our cake off the day of :) I can’t wait to order a million more times

We went through Flour Child for our wedding on October 1st and they made us mini pies and Rice Krispie treats. There was nothing left at the end of the night and people couldn't stop talking about how delicious the desserts were! When planning a wedding its stressful and can feel uncertain as far as what service you may get from some vendors. As soon I started talking to Emilee though, it put any anxiety at ease as she clearly answered my questions and made sure we had everything we needed to feel prepared the day of. I'd go through Flour Child again and again, they are an amazing, talented team!

My daughter is a 4th of July baby and for all her 19 years I have had a custom cake made. Many looked good but were not extremely edible. This year after missing the opportunity last year I had Flour Child create and bake a custom 4th of July themed birthday cake and it was the best one in years. Not only did it look great but it was fully edible. I would recommend definitely.

Drove over from Nampa with my mom to visit the shop based on multiple recommendations, including from family. We intended on placing an order for my mom's 80th birthday and purchasing a few treats. Gal working checked her calendar, said she was booked past date we needed, said sorry, thanks, and didn't seem too interested in helping us with referrals when we asked. Poor customer service, we felt very unwelcome and like we were bothering her. We won't be referring anyone to this business, and will let our family know as well.
