Raman is amazing! I wish I could remember our waitresses name, she was awesome! Our 11 year old daughters sat next to us at their own table and our waitress treated them like they were adults dining on their own m. It was the cutest thing.

Pricing is a bit expensive for one drink, but everything else is on par. Rangoon so yummy! Dragon roll, citrus roll were fresh and flavorful. Zenkai drink (photographed) black as my soul. Quite delicious!

Ridiculously good ramen, I tried the 12 hour bone broth with level 1 spice and it was so deeply flavored and perfectly spicy. The chashu was amazing and the noodles were so clearly house made.
I've had Ramen in SF and Vancouver and this is the best I've ever had, clearly a passion project. So so happy to have food like this in Boise. Please go so they never close. The best 16$ in Boise for sure.

We stopped in as we had some time to spare before a movie and ordered a couple of appetizers and drinks.
We tried the tataki and pork chirashi. Oh man!! I was very pleasantly surprised and blown away. The tataki (yellowfin tuna sashimi) was very fresh and high-quality. The pork chirashi was pure Asian comfort food, with a flavorful and fatty pork belly, perfectly cooked rice and a savory glaze. It immediately brought me back to childhood, reminding me of dishes we had at home.
For drinks, we tried the wasabi martini and raz highball. Both were very different. I enjoyed the wasabi martini but was hoping for a little more salt/brine. The raz highball was sweet due to Chambord but balanced and lightened up with the yuzu and soda.
I wish I wasn't already full from having had dinner, as there were so many options on the menu I was wanting to try. I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu!

Honestly really disappointed with this new sushi restaurant. Overpriced for what you get.
First, service. We were not offered the happy hour menu, we got there at 5:15. Our server greeted and got drinks for a table that sat 5 minutes after us. She then did not give a happy hour discount for our drinks. We had to ask for it. Service and food was very slow for not being busy.
Second, the drinks. This is a bar with “house specialty” cocktails that just has different bar food. The drinks are priced on the high end but not atypical. I appreciated the different nonalcoholic beverages. I ordered the c137 and it was delicious but had only like four sips in it.
Third, the food. We ordered the hot honey gyoza which was not spicy in the least bit. The filling was delicious.
Then we ordered three sushi rolls: spicy tuna, citrus, and cowboy samurai. I was surprised at how tiny the rolls were in not only girth, but also how they were sliced and the portions of ingredients, especially the fish. You eat sushi for the sushi? The spicy tuna had way more slices of fresh jalapeño than tuna. The citrus was delicious but again, minimal fish; ate like a lemon la croix with essence of fish. The cowboy was just not my flavor profile. Still barely any fish but plenty of imitation krab.
Lastly, this is not a restaurant to get full at for what you pay for. We ended up going somewhere else to complete our dinner. This was a $75 appetizer. Probably won’t be returning which sucks because we need better sushi in the valley.

Let me start with food was great, sushi was great, and we absolutely loved the ramen. But what is stopping me from going back at least for the next couple of months until the restaurant settles down a bit is the service.
I typically don’t care if service is slow especially on a busy night. But we were forgotten after we sat down and after 20 minutes we ended flagging down a person. They were incredibly nice and apologized. They did state that we weren’t part of their table section but will help us anyway. So we ordered bunch of food and the only thing that came out correctly was ramen all other sushi were wrong. We let them know, but at this point we were so hungry that it didn’t really matter anymore. Some orders were taken to other table by mistakes is what they said so we had to wait longer for more food to come.
Like I said overall the food is great. But we’d probably wait before we go back again.

Since hearing about this restaurant, I've been eagerly awaiting an opportunity to go. And man, it absolutely crushed my expectations.
Every dish was simply amazing! We started off with some miso and hot honey gyoza, which I highly recommend. So, so, good ?!
The surprising standout was one of the veggie rolls (reefer) ??! My wife loves sushi and was very impressed with that roll, and we'd both order it again. I can't wait to go back to try some of the other items!
I had gotten the 12 hour bone broth ramen with level 2 heat, which was perfection ?. The pickled peppers added a nice surprise in the bites ?.
And we cannot say enough about that Japanese (fluffy) cheesecake with the yuzu sauce!!! I can't wait to go back to try that. That is a toss up for my favorite dessert in the area - comparing it to Wepa's guava infused mousse. They both slap, but feel like this one night edge 'em out. This is definitely in the rotation.
Be different, and try something new :).
