Been going here for quite awhile. If I am in town it's the goto birthday or anniversary cake. They have a pastry, cookie, cake, cookie, etc. for about any taste. I like most of what I have had here in all my visits. Give it a shot I doubt you will regret it other than the lbs you gain from enjoying yourself.

The name says it all, I'm not sure what else I can say. But I'll try. This bakery is massive and has cakes, donuts, pastries, breads and every other kind of treat that my jeans wish I would skip. As you walk in the doors, you're hit with the blissful scent of baked goods. And you can't help but smile. The atmosphere is reminiscent of the 1990's, and that adds to it's charm and appeal. The color scheme, the neon sign and the whole ambience wraps me up in happy nostalgia. But then I'm snapped back to the current time when I see all those delicious goodies. And they are TASTY! It's a good darn thing I don't live nearby or I'd be a frequent flyer, for sure!

Made the birthday cake for my dad’s 60th birthday. The cake was the talk of the party. Absolutely remarkable

We love Pastry Perfection for a special treat: morning coffee and a pastry. We especially like their Danish Crispy. It's a large, thin pastry with a flavor similar to a Snickerdoodle. They have a choice of 4 brewed coffees with free refills and a full espresso machine. All their baked goods are delicious, including breads, bagels, rolls, strudels and cookies. Lately I've enjoyed their "maple bars" that are half chocolate and half maple frosting. Their cinnamon/sugar cake donuts are to-die-for, and don't forget to checkout their day-old rack. Great deals!

Their driver that drives around to gas stations etc. is a crazy nut! He will ride your bumper, cut you off and try to crash into your car. Go a head hit me!!! I will sue Pastry Perfection you loser!!

Pastry Perfection is undoubtedly my favorite spot in Boise, offering an extensive and well-managed selection of pastries, cakes, and coffee. It stands out as one of the very best in the entire area. The unique variety of pastries always lures me in, and the friendly service makes each visit enjoyable. With such a delightful array of options, it's hard to find anything to complain about. The only challenge is the limited and crowded parking outside, making it a bit tricky to navigate. However, the exceptional experience inside makes it well worth putting up with the parking hassle. One standout favorite for me is the marzipan cake adorned with charming little mice - a delightful touch that adds to the overall charm of the place. I often find myself buying up all of them, as they never fail to satisfy my sweet tooth. If you're in the mood for pastry perfection, this is the place to be.

For my little sisters "Bride to Bee" bridal shower I came in for some sweets. I will admit I was pretty scatter brained and I did not plan as far in advance as I would've liked. When I came in they only had a few bumble bee cookies left. I asked if they could make me some more. The lady at the front told me no but the young lady icing the cookies in the back over heard me and went out of her way to make me more. They were delicious and not to mention the lovely lady in the back was my saving grace.

Pastry Perfection was an unexpected amazing adventure of pastry heaven and donuts. A must see/go in Boise. Boy what cakes and things they bake. Amazing display and treats.
Worst cake ever. We'd morning, (Dec20, 2023) popped in for a holiday cake. Bought the red velvet with white frosting and tiny hollys piped around the top. It was dry and tasteless, and the frosting was so sugary it was gritty. Yuck! Never had this experience; this is usually an exceptional bakery.

Figured I'd push my luck. I found out it was a resident of a care facilities birthday Sunday. Called at 10:30 to order a full sheet chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and a simple "happy birthday -----". I really didn't expect this to happen since they closed at 2:00 and on such short notice, but they came through with flying colors. Not only did they make it happen but the cake was absolutely beautiful. Thanks so very much girls for going above and beyond expectations. Not only did you make me extremely happy but also the staff and residents of the facility.

I love the atmosphere of this place, with all the old people meeting up for donuts, coffee, and conversation. It's not hip and cool, but old fashioned. Love the donuts and the pastries. The freshness of the cookies has been hit or miss. I've never ordered a cake because I like making cakes for my family. I have ordered a lemon meringue pie in the past, and it was terrible. That's why I'm giving only 4 stars. Overall it's a great place with friendly employees, plenty of seating, and clean bathrooms.

The simple fact that your establishment insinuates leaving a tip for hourly employees that sell you pastries and self service coffee is the most bitter taste one could have in their mouth. Pay your people.
