I stopped by Slow Coffee Bar while visiting Boise for Treefort. The building was in was so so cool, right in the center of Downtown and the coffee was fantastic! There were only two small seats out front which was a bit of a bummer with five of us and how nice it was but we were understanding.

Eh, it's ok. They have some good beans for sale. But we've been a couple of times and I really appreciate a good pour over but I can't say much more about them other than the place is cute and folks who work in their area, ok but upon more introspective questioning about beans, roasts etc, they were a bit less "Boise" then other places. Sad. I could get big city attitude from tons of other places or if I'm in Boise, from this place.

Great selection of beans, including an exciting line of Appolon’s Gold roaster from Japan. Great espresso drinks and a nice selection of the filter coffees served. Knowledgeable and polite baristas.

Slow by slow is by far my favourite coffee bar in Boise. Yes there are other places which serve good coffee as well, but this one just felt like a second home to me. The venue is nice and there is also some art on show. The coffee, simply great and it comes with beautiful latte art. Also a great selection of coffee beans from around the world. And the people who work there, make all the difference. They are super nice and make everyone feel welcome! They always serve their coffees with a smile and are always in for a chat when it s not too busy. Spend 3 months in Boise and just loved this place, miss it already. Thanks slow by slow team for making my time in Boise even nicer. All the best to you all!

I shouldn’t have gotten a hot chocolate, but they should have made it delicious since they sell one.

This is my new go-to place. I’ve loved every drink I’ve had so far (both teas and coffees), especially the coffee drinks with their various syrups and garnishes. Even the glassware is fun and sturdy. It’s a small, yet roomy place and I appreciate every time the barista brings my drink up the stairs to me. The pastries can be on the chewier side but I don’t mind as I understand their focus. Additionally, whoever plays the music there must have hacked my Spotify account because the tunes are always on point. ??

Welcoming, kind, creative and delicious. Is located in the heart of downtown, just a short walk away from the Boise Greenbelt, Boise Public Library and more! A great space for a first date or working from your laptop. Smiles all around.

I really enjoy this coffee shop when I’m in town. They have an excellent latte with their “old fashioned” flavoring. I also got the apple fritter the last time I was there, and wow! Definitely visit if you are in the area, and you won’t be disappointed!Dietary restrictions: Options for dairy alternatives.

Truly incredible. I was genuinely flabbergasted by how amazing my pour over was. And the seasonal latte I had?!?!?!!!! Out of this world.

One of the best pourovers and espresso drinks I've ever had, and I go to a lot of specialty coffee shops. The mango notes in my coffee might be better categorized as simply mango flavors. Watching the baristas recalibrate their equipment mid-shift to get the best flavor possible shows the commitment Slow by Slow has to good coffee.
