I could you not, this place has the BEST Eggs Benedict that I have ever tasted. On top of that they have the sweetest server ever! The atmosphere is very homey with a lot of antiques available for you to look at while you wait for your food.

Fantastic breakfast experience. I ordered the skillet and it was delicious plus it came with a biscuit and sausage gravy...boom! Go early in the morning because it gets busy. Keep it up guys!!

The Chef’s Hut is a cute place to enjoy good breakfast. I was welcomed with open arms and enjoyed my experience. I ordered a Small Plate with a Belgian Waffle (seemed like a BIG plate—good portions) and left full. Will definitely be back!

If you're looking for home cooking, charming decor, and a wonderful staff you have come to the right place.Found The Chef's Hut on Google looking for a good breakfast burrito and found this gem!We, my wife and I, ordered a cinnamon roll to start as it was at the top of the menu. The wife ordered the Pork chops and eggs, while I ordered the "Gutbuster".We will start with the cinnamon roll as it comes out first if ordered. It was piping hot and came with a serving of butter on top which began to melt instantly. The cinnamon roll was the perfect balance, not over sweet, the cinnamon was there but not overpowering. The glaze on top made it perfect with the melted butter! No nutts or raisins (Thank you!).Onto the main event:The "Gutbuster". It was perfect and lived up to it's name. The burrito could barely close and was at least as big as the plate ( about 12") covered in cheese. It normally comes with country gravy, but as I don't care for gravy on my burrito I gave it to my wife. The meat was fantastic and was well flavored, having ham, bacon, and sausage. The eggs tasted as if they were done "dirty", as my grandfather would say, and brought me back to childhood. Added a bit of sour cream to the mix and it was fantastic. Needless to say I did not finish. (Photos attached)The pork chops and eggs were delicious as well. The pork was moist, slightly breaded and fried. The hash browns were done to perfection along with the English muffin. The gravy that I had passed on to my wife was fantastic. Not overly spicy but very flavorful. The staff was fantastic and kept us well looked after. I cannot praise the place enough. The prices were also very reasonable. My wife and I will be back!!

Never knew this place was here so we decided to give it a try. From the outside it looks absolutely different than from the inside. It was a 30 min wait. However, we were willing as the reviews were so good. First, bring your own coffee as you have to ask for refills. That's only if they come by for you to ask. What they failed to tell you was its a 30 min wait to be seated and an hour wait to get your food.. I used the restroom which was disgusting!! Made me wonder what the kitchen looks like. Next time I'll pass.

This was our first visit to this restaurant. My grandson and I went for breakfast. To say that my breakfast was uneatable was an understatement. I ordered the scrabble egg skillet. Every meat was burnt. The eggs were dry and not scrambled with the meat. They were like an burnt omelette eggs. When the waitress came over.. I said quietly, this plate of food was terrible. I said I will pay but please let who ever cooked it needs to know. She then was loud, wanted to take it off the check. That is not what I asked for.. just let the "chef" know. It went on in and on with her. We left. I was a waitress in my young college days and I would have never served that dish.

Hard to find but worth the hunt. They have posted a lot of signage and if you follow it you will be good. I Definitely will come back! I ate here on a Friday morning at 1015. I was able to sit immediately because I sat at the counter but if I wanted an inside table I would have had to wait ten minutes. They have a little outdoor seating which was available. I ordered the eye opener with the hash browns added for an additional cost. This included one B &G, two eggs, choice of meat (4 bacon for me) and the hash browns of course. I am always wary of ordering biscuits with gravy since it can often lead to disappointment but I found a winner here. The gravy had flavor and I easily would be happy to eat it by the bowl. The menu had a standard variety with a few surprising extra items that were intriguing. The service was attentive and kind. I have no problem giving this restaurant a strong 5 stars.

It gets pretty busy during peak breakfast hours, but for a good reason. The building is in kind of in a weird spot, and not much to look at on the inside. However, the breakfast burritos they serve there are one of the best in the valley, in my opinion. Service is kind, food's great!

The coffee is strong and the food was pretty good. Loved the pancakes. I order Togo. I didn't try the chicken steak since it was for my husband but he enjoyed it.

Huge amount of character packed into a small place. Great food - quantity and quality. Excellent prices. Friendly staff. 20 minute wait to be seated and 40 minutes after that before food was served. Excellent place for breakfast if you are not in a rush.

Visited this little gem on one of the busiest breakfast/brunch days of the yr & it was fantastic. The gravy on their biscuits was one of the most flavorful I've had in Boise & the biscuit itself was super tender. My daughters pancake was big & fluffy, breakfast burritos were huge, they have a few puzzles, crayons & coloring pages in the entry way for kids. Coffee & drinks were always refilled before the cups were emptied. Really great friendly service. We'll be back for sure.

Awesome little home in the wall! We found it, no problem, but apparently it's not so easy to locate. Came in on a Saturday morning, late breakfast. Quoted 45 minute wait time, seated in less than 30. Cinnamon roll appetizer was good; fluffy, warm and not too dry. Stuffed French toast was pretty good, could have used a bit more "stuffing". Chicken and waffle was great. Loved that they used tenders, good portions, hot and fresh. The chicken fried steak + points for homemade gravy (- cause it was too thick and not enough), plenty of hash browns though and a decent portion overall. It could have been less potato and more (thinner) gravy though. Good, hot coffee in a huge mug. Bright friendly service. Definitely will return.
