The place was empty at 4pm but heard good things so I gave them a try. Boy was I mistaken the waitress had no personality barely spoke even when spoken to. Had the Irish Mac and cheese could use a bit more flavor and onions where raw but don't know if they were supposed to be but overall decent. But ending on a good note the in-house root beer was really good.
Great service! Awesome food! Great beer! Don't come to Buhl often but when I do I plan to come back. Clean restrooms and ample parking. We were all happy when we left!
We came to Buhl for my sisters wedding and we were starving. So glad we found this place, we will be back! Best BLT I’ve ever had, the kids shared steak bites and fries which they loved and hubby had a chicken wrap, salad and beer. His stout was awesome and the service was friendly. Played Operation while we waited which was fun. A great stop, all for under $60 for the 4 of us.
We did not enjoy our lunch at all. The beer was okay but the waitress was condescending and rude to everyone that wasn’t a local. We are very easy guests but literally felt like we were inconveniencing her. We don't ask excessive questions or request substitutions so it was just an odd visit - almost laughable at times. We drove about 30 minutes out of our way (on the way home from a road trip) to try this based on reviews alone. The food was bland and didn’t taste homemade. A far cry from the reviews.
Very friendly, we were out of town and like to eat local to try new things and support local businesses. They were close to the hotel and were 15 minutes from closing, we called and said it would be ok. They were blessed to have a busier then normal weekend and ended up being out of many items but, were very patient with us and us with them as we found something they had and we would want to eat. Food was fresh and flavorful. They had local root beer and cream soda witch we had. They also have ginger ale and many local beers on tap for people who like to drink. They had an issue with the card machine and were willing to make sure we didn't get charged for the wrong thing. We were just happy they let us eat there and happy to wait since they were very accommodating. They close Monday and Tuesday for cleaning and preparing food for the week. All made fresh and local.
Best Rueben I've ever had by far. Mac and cheese unique and also very good. Quick and kind service. Plus totally fits the vibe of the town, definitely recommend.
Great bar tender super friendly quaint and peaceful. I had the Ida Peach Sangria it is delicious! The brewery if in the middle of town across from the Fire Station.
I have never written a negative review but am compelled to share the rude behavior my husband & I received when we stopped here for lunch. Upon entering, the young woman dismissively said to sit where you want. We took a seat and said “hello, how are you?“ to which there was silence. She said “what do you want to drink?” My husband said he’d like a beer. She pointed to a board with a list of choices. He asked if she could recommend something light to which she responded, “that depends on what you consider light.” Her attitude was rude, dismissive, arrogant & hostile. We decided this was not a business we would choose to patronize so we left. We cannot speak to the quality of their food but pity the owner who relies on such an inadequate employee to represent this business!
Great! Friendly service, they offer a wide variety of beers and food options. We shared Idaho mashed potatoes with meatballs, mushrooms and gravy; it was delicious home cooking! The three dark beers we tried each had their own great flavor. Nice bar decor.
Great place to hang out, try their amazing food and get a cold in house brew. Their Stout beers are phenomenal and their service on point. Glad we were recommend this place. We will return in future travels.
This local gem has great energy and great food! The Mac and cheese was gooey goodness, and the fish and chips were the best my husband has ever had. We enjoyed the atmosphere immensely, as well as their homemade beverages. Definitely a great place to eat and spend your time!
Waitress and Pretzel ? were great and that’s why they get two stars. The beer not so much. the worst I’ve had. My husband and I both ordered flights (4) tasters each. One of mine was a guest tap of some local cider. The cider was fine but the stuff made by MVB was horrible. Couldn’t drink 2 of them. My husband couldn’t drink two of his as well. The ones we did drink were not made well either. The beer was flat and infected. When I told the waitress the beers were flat, she stated that yeah they have that problem cause they have issues with the CO2. Maybe you shouldn’t serve beer until you get that fixed. If you are a craft beer fanatic this place will disappoint you. Was hoping for much more.
This brewery outshines the other options in Twin Falls. Excellent brews and a great ambiance that can only come from a passionate brewer. The pretzel was also amazing. This will definitely be a destination stop any time I'm I'm in the area.
The lady waiting on the tables the evening my boyfriend and I came in was so nice and friendly, and we had such a fun conversation with her. The food was amazing, and the cream soda we tried was the best we've ever had! Definitely gonna stop there again if and when I go to Buhl next.
Talk about the best brewery in Idaho! Judy (Owner) is such an amazing person to talk to and Lori (server) will immediately welcome you like you came home for Christmas Dinner. I had the Shoshone Paintbrush and it hit me right in the taste buds. If you could imagine sitting in the warm water of Miracle Hot Springs while facing your fears on the end of the Shoshone Falls this is a beer for you. The Smooth, Rich, Carmel flavor is one of the best around.
