After researching restaurants in the local Coeur D'Alene area, we came upon this Italian restaurant which caught our eye with Chef Angelo's passion for organic, local farm sourcing and many positive reviews... We seek out unique and high-quality, intimate Italian venues both local and when we travel... Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated at a semi-private quiet table. Donna, our server, was a ray of sunshine and a chalice of radiant light! Seriously... with her warm smile and soulful embracing, beautiful demeanor, we immediately knew we arrived exactly where we needed to be... We decided on a simple chianti on the glass pour list, which was a wonderfully generous pour for both of us... and the wine was perfect. We began our culinary bliss with the vegetable antipasto which included wonderfully Grilled and Marinated Vegetables, Olives and Fresh Mozzarella (was not expecting the BEST eggplant we have ever had on a starter plate like this...) which led my wife to ordering the eggplant parmesan. After we placed our entree orders, Donna kindly brought us a small taste of the scrumptious silky butternut squash soup which was topped with delicately crisped pepitas. We devoured the soup and wished we had ordered a giant bowl... but the fresh baked focaccia had arrived and more courses were on the way... Our entrees arrived and were a feast for the eyes... and they tasted just as delicious! The eggplant parmesan was crisp and light as a cloud... sided with a perfectly al dente bucatini noodle and fresh, bright red sauce... again, THE BEST eggplant my wife has ever enjoyed. Now... let us talk about the meatballs... I got the bucatini with meatballs... the sauce, delectable... the meatballs... are you sitting down?? Lean, pillow soft, hearty, herby, perfect mouthfeel, flavorful, insatiably delightful!Atmosphere was ma and pop taste of Italy experience... The entirety provided for a very romantic experience which was to pay off later that evening... but we digress...We can't recommend this restaurant enough... for the food, the experience and the beautiful Donna... Be sure to ask to sit in her section... And then enjoy YOUR romantic evening after your visit... Salud!

We showed up at 745 and didn't leave till 930. The waitress kept forgetting about it and couldn't care less. Loved the atmosphere and the bread. The food was good but the service ruined everything.

We experienced Angelo's for the first time last week and absolutely LOVED it. Our server, Donna, was fabulous. The food was delicious and we were so excited that everything was organic. They even had organic wine selections! We can't wait to eat here again! -Jen and

Nothing special. Flavors were amateurish and awkward. Oil at the table was generic. At least olive garden gives you freshly grated parm.

We tried Angelo's for the first time during a date night a few months ago and it was phenomenal. The service was incredibly friendly. The bruschetta was excellent. We also had the fettuccine prima vera and the pene di pollo. The sauces were perfect. The servings were enough for some tasty leftovers. We will definitely return!!

Absolutely the best Italian food in Coeur d'Alene! We went for a pre-Valentine's day dinner. The service was amazing despite the restaurant being pretty busy. Loved the ambiance and the Victorian style decor. Our waitress was perfect, not coming to the table too much and not too infrequent. It's a delicate balance and she nailed it! My husband and I travel the world and he said his seafood dish he ordered (I can't remember the name but it's a seafood entree that has clams, shrimp, scallops and a mashed potato/mushrooms in a wine garlic sauce) was the best he's ever had between Italy, Spain, France and all of America. I had the spicy tomato sauce pasta and added grilled chicken which was cooked so perfectly, moist and delicious! The sauce was one of the best spicy vodka sauces I've ever had as well. We shared tiramisu for dessert and it was so fluffy and not too sweet. Absolutely amazing! They have a great wine selection, we had the Chianti and it was perfect. Highly recommend for a date night! Very romantic and such great food for a wonderful price!

Went here for the first time to do an early Valentine’s Day celebration. The service was wonderful. Feels like it could be in littleItaly. Felt like being in someone’s home and a high quality dining experience. The bruschetta was the best I’ve had - and we’ve had a lot including in Italy. Pasta was great and cheesecake was a perfect balance of the ricotta with sweetness. We’ll be going here again!

Recently visited Angello’s and was very impressed with the service, so professional and attentive. The server said she was new, but you would never know it! We had lobster ravioli and it was fantastic, and the bread is exceptional. We will definitely be back!

Angelo's Restaurant is a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience! My family and I ate there for the first time about a month ago. From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with an ambiance of elegance and warmth. The service is impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring every need is met. But it's the food that truly steals the show. The steak, cooked to perfection, is a masterpiece of flavor and tenderness. Overall, my experience at Angelo's Restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the perfect steak to the impeccable service, every aspect of the evening surpassed my expectations. I wholeheartedly recommend Angelo's to anyone seeking a culinary adventure that transcends the ordinary!

My wife and I took our son here for his birthday dinner. We were honestly really disappointed after reading all the great reviews. Our food was was not bad, but the the money we paid I was not happy with OK food. Additionally the service was mediocre. It took a long time to get our check and my wife's water was empty for a long time. We will not be coming back.

Slow service. Good server. Wanted nice evening with my wife. Waited over an hour for food. After much time told server to let us take food home. So much for for fine dining.
