One of the best restaurants I’ve been to for fascinating atmosphere and good food. Steak is the way to go and baked potato awesome. The fish was good but the steak was better. For those who love salads, they have it all. Great bar as well. If you want to get a saloon, old west experience I can’t imagine any place better. From historic firearms, hunting trophies and mounted fish, this is a must stop for anyone visiting the area.

We arrived early as recommended by friends. Our bar tender Andy made great food recommendations, served all the customers efficiently and in between shared the history of the bar and its artifacts. Really a great time. Will definitely go back!!

Super fun bar with amazing vibe and decor.Cocktail list was excellent. Execution on cocktails was not great. We both ordered their famous margarita, which was very watery and lacked flavor. Thankfully, they took it back and we ordered two other cocktails which were very good. We ordered another round of the same cocktails, and they were not the same as before. One was good the other not. ?. Wonder what happened?We weren't quite ready for dinner so we ordered the artichoke which was good.This is clearly a popular bar and known amongst locals, as well as tourists.Who recommend this place, but hoping that you have a better experience with the cocktails.

Terrible service. Overpriced mediocre food. This place is so slimey. They took our plates before some people in our party even finished eating and then told us we had to leave as soon as we paid so they could put another party at our table. We had only been there an hour. They up charged for everything possible. They implied sides were included and then charged for them. Charged us for items on the bill that we didn’t even order and had to request be taken off. Would have been ok with the bad food if the service wasn’t so bad.
Waited an hour to be seated and it took 50 minutes to get our food. No issue there given the reviews we had read and all the positive feedback from the locals.HOWEVER, our steaks were not delivered to our table as ordered. What’s worse, the server didn’t tell us the cook had given our steaks to another customer until AFTER we said they were not prepared as asked.Called the manager over and his table side manner was poor at best.BUT, they did comp both of our meals because he knew I was furious.I realize mistakes happen but one cover up then no visual regrets in their error was a HUGE turn off.The patrons at the neighboring table were distressed at how we had been treated while waiting on their order. We did not stick around to see if it was correct.

Great western themed restaurant! The Korean ribs were amazing, it reminded me of my time in South Korea living as a Man of the night, tasting sumptuous treats and being paid in large sums of Won. The ribs remind me of one of my most memorable South Korean clients “Dong Long Sun Woon” and while there mechanical body parts and robotic motions made many scared, inside laid a heart of the softest dim sum, coated in a yummy kor an honey glaze. Even the bathroom with the off meowing cats in the ceiling brought back memories of Dong Long Sun Woon.

I visited your establishment while on vacation at Sun Valley 2 weeks ago. I had not been in the area for 34 years, but the Pioneer Saloon was still standing strong. We arrived at 5:20pm and were seated at 8:10pm. During our wait in the bar I noticed several patrons come in after me and slip the host cash and they were seated before my party of 5. When finally seated, the menu was depleted and the food served to us was barely even warm. I would NOT recommend going here. They need to work on some things.
