Off the beaten path if you're downtown but not too bad. Was a little slow for lunch but steady. Service was good and straightforward. Ordered burnt ends, 2 ribs, sausage with potato salad and beans plus cornbread. Burnt ends were a little too fatty fire my taste. One rib was spot on - meat fell off the bone but still had a little chew to it. The other was dry and needed sauce. The two sides were very good. This place is great! Delicious and smokey bbq with a friendly inviting staff. Good conversations with what seemed like a bunch of local regulars. Really enjoyed my pit stop here. Its cozy but that's the appeal

Wow! Deserves the 5 stars.. hidden gem! If you have a few minutes this is a must stop! Loved the baked beans, cornbread is to die for, and meats are awesome! In our group I don't think there was anything we didn't order or try! GREAT FOOD!
