Good solid tacos, for a Texas franchise, good service, and location, the food comes out fast.

This place had been so hyped up to me that I felt the only expectation I should have going in was to enjoy some quality food. Expectation met! I was joined by a buddy of mine from Texas and he was impressed with the "Texas-inspired" grub. Only reason for 4 stars is my personal preference with tacos isn't to stuff as much into a tortilla as will hold, but I get the selling point behind it. I found that the tray of chips was the move. With pico and/or queso, that was a meal in itself

My first time eating here. It was a pretty average experience. I had a quesadilla with brisket and a side of chips and queso. It wasn't bad but it wasn't memorable either The quesadilla was extremely small for the price point, had minimal cheese and brisket-which was also dry. Flavor was ok. Queso was pretty good. Did mention to the crew that their soda fountain was dispensing flat drinks but it wasn't addressed by the time we left. I may try it again in the future to see if this was just an off night.

The fried chicken taco was great, I definitely recommend it. Being from Texas, I liked the Texas vibes inside.

If you’re looking for amazing street tacos and a fun, laid-back vibe, Tin Roof Tacos is the place to go! Their tacos are packed with fresh, bold flavors that keep you coming back for more. My absolute favorite? The shrimp tacos. They’re loaded with perfectly seasoned shrimp, fresh toppings, and just the right amount of sauce to make every bite a little piece of heaven.
But the goodness doesn’t stop there. Their chips and queso are a must-have. The chips are warm and crispy, and the queso? Oh, it’s creamy, rich, and perfectly spiced—a total crowd-pleaser! It’s the kind of appetizer you’ll want to order every single time.
And let’s talk about dessert. Tin Roof’s sopapillas are out of this world! Light, fluffy, and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar, they’re the perfect sweet ending to your meal. Drizzle on some honey, and you’ve got a dessert you’ll be dreaming about later.

Service was good, patio was nice with a warm fireplace, food was ready quickly.
Ordered one of each taco and the chips with salsa
Chips and salsa was good, really liked the salsa.
The insides of the tacos were ok, but guys, please cook your corn tortillas, cooking those raw tortillas in oil would make the tacos so much better.

Well this is a different kind of Mexican restaurant. You order you food at the counter, you pick up at the counter and you asked for a tip before they start making you food so the service is not good. You sit on benches with other people. Their tacos are pretty good. This place seems to be a good stop from our city services and people in the service. .

Husband and I met for lunch. I just love grilled fish tacos and they are good here. However, one of the owners (I presume) was so condescending to her employees. Also, the seating was terrible. Installing or re-installing the TV? Left very little seating for customers in addition to Owner reinforcing to employees TV will be un-installed if it affects tables turning. Very uncomfortable. They are hiring, maybe this is why? All the employees we observed were at task and very polite.

Good food, weird vibe. You order at the counter, pick up your own food, and eat at communal bench seating. (but you're still asked to tip before you even see your food for some reason). Cops and people in camo love this place.

Tacos are very good. The atmosphere is very good and comfortable. This a hole in the wall that shouldn't be missed at all. Staff joking around and enjoying their time. See staff enjoying their time is what is very important and makes for a good team. Various types of patches and stuff about bar bench is very impressive. Hand washing was done properly as well. Very clean.
