My first time here. Took the time to explain things to me and sample a couple soups. Tried goulash for the first time, very good. Definitely recommend!

Food was good, we had the Goulash and it was a little too heavy on the paprika. The schnitzel was Fantastic, we could hear her pounding after we ordered it and tasted so good. We will definitely be back anytime we we go through Mountain Home.Food: 4/5

Great food, have eaten here twice and ordered brotchen for a party and they went over great, made my schweinebauch taste even better.

Amazing folks at the Bavarian Deli. Easily the highest quality food in Elmore County. Schnitzel sandwich is a must try, Ruben is the best I have ever tasted.

I'm not even gonna read the reviews before I post this. Christine and Heather are awesome. We gave this place a look as it was new to town. We're we'll travel and recognize good food in all the cultures we've been able to experience, so we know what good tastes like. Mama always gets the Salz lox, first try on a great meal and hasn't looked back. I am simple... the stinkiest cheese and stinkiest meat, with hottest mustard and extra pickles and chips. No seriously, every time I order I tell (Christine most of the time) make me a sandwich with the stinkiest cheese and the stinkiest meat... make me a stinky sandwich, obviously. There are a lot of thing in this world that stink. In Europe's case stinky is not just good but great. There's almost always other folks eating... I tell everyone I talk to about food about this place, and every stinky sandwich is a little different depending on the smell of the day. But everyone was done right. We love the chowder on Fridays, it's not made with red meat, just the clams, so it will fit into certain red meatless/fish only diets. You guys are so awesome! A pal took my advice and ate at your place and he loved it. He's got a usual European food spot in Boise, and now he doesn't have to go 50 for that cuisine. Keep making Mountain Home great!!!

Worth the drive. Wonderful restaurant. The owner is charming and you can hear her pounding schnitzel in the back the whole time. The food was authentic and excellent and she asked follow-up questions on the way out the door to see if we enjoyed the meal. Charming restaurant but the real gem is the lady who runs it. Danke schön.

Great little German restaurant. Probably the best in Idaho. They also have a deli with lots of German sausages and cold cuts. We had Goulash, Schnitzel and Wiener. All delicious.

This is the best restaurant we've eaten in a long time. Small homecoming delicious. The sea food sandwich was phenomenal but all sauerkraut dishes and brats were too.

The food was on point. They just have a very limited menu. Must ask what is on the menu that they actually have for dinner. Only one person working. No table waiting.

I had a wonderful goulash with spatlze and my husband had a Bratwurst with Sauerkraut on a pretzel bun. It was all very good. To top that all off we took home a slice of black forest cake. Will be back to try other items. Very nice place, friendly people.
