Pleasantly satisfied with our lunch here, served by friendly and attentive Julie. The decor and atmosphere are warm and charming. We had Steamer Clams, Five Cheese Pizza, Shrimp Pesto Linguine and a glass of Spanish red wine. All very good and at very reasonable prices. We definitely will return and recommend Cafe Tuscano!Food: 5/5

Crawfish Bisque was absolutely delicious, I would make a meal out of it. Staff was welcoming and quick. Food was excellent.

Passing through Pocatello after climbing Mt. Borah earlier that day. We were starving, but it was also our wedding anniversary, so we were looking for some place that would feel a bit special, vs. the normal post climb burger and beer we usually seek out. Cafe Tuscano was perfect...nice ambiance in the dining room (I don't understand the reviews that say you go through a "gas station" seemed like a normal entrance to me. Maybe I missed something?). The service was really good. All of the staff we interacted with were lovely. The food wasn't the best Italian I've ever had, but certainly good. We started with the Tuscano Caprese salad which was excellent! For dinner we had the Shrimp Alla Vodka and the Tuscano Shrimp Penne and both were yummy! Our son ordered a Margherita Pizza and was happy with it. I don't agree with reviewers who have said the food seems like pre-made frozen, at least the entrees we ordered were not. I will definitely come back if I'm ever in Pocatello in the future.

It's realistically a 4 star experience, but I put down 5 stars to up the overall average from snobs who give it low ratings. I've been there 4 or 5 times and have had good food and service every time. I would personally put it in the top 5 resteraunts to take a date in Pocatello for its sitdown casual food category. Buddies Italian resteraunt, Off the rails Brewing, Sandpiper, The Grecian Key, Himalayan Flavor is SLEPT on AND REALLY good for food, and I'd recommend Tokyo Belly or Sumiso if you're into Sushi. Tai Zap is really good in my opinion too...

Cafe Tuscano has a quaint, unassuming exterior with a lovely, charming interior. Calming music, soft spoken conversations, and excellent service make for a romantic couples evening together. The Chicken Piccata is highly recommended and worth the price. Ask for Brock, he was an extraordinary, wonderful, highly attentive server.

Excellent food and service. We had the shrimp pesto linguine and the Tuscan burger. Wife’s Margarita was excellent. Building is under construction, don’t let that stop you. It was our server, Kassidy’s first solo day. Keep up the great work. Thank you…

We ate lunch at Café Tuscano based on the yelp reviews and it was just okay. What we had definitely didn't live up to the reviews we read, but the other patrons around us had dishes that looked good. My wife had the crawfish bisque and it wasn't good. It had a heavy flour taste and was very thick. There might have 4 or 5 pieces of crawfish in the entire bowl. She also had a 1/2 of blue cheese chicken wrap. It can be best summed up as sometimes less is more. It needed to be assembled differently and with less blue cheese and bacon. The way it was put together, you ended up with the chicken, bacon, blue cheese and other ingredients as separate in each bite. When you did get a bite with everything, it was fantastic. Having less bacon and blue cheese, but spreading them more evenly would make the wrap a winning combination. I had the Tuscano house salad and it was one of the best salads I've had. The dressing and overall ingredients made it a salad to brag about. 1/2 of a meat ball sandwich that was huge. Everything about it was pretty good with the meatballs being the star. The bread it was on was over toasted and even with the sauce soaking into it was a challenge to eat. But the sauce, it was very good. Service was great! Our server was so pleasant and attentive, she is the type of person you want representing your company. Even though the bisque was a disappointment, we plan to return when we visit Pocatello and try other things. This is a place that presents high expectations and just needs a couple of tweaks and attention to detail to realize it.

Absolutely love their food and their menu selections. I have always had great service and enjoy the Atmosphere very much. However, I take huge issue with the $1 per item to-go order fee. When dining in your paying someone to wash the dishes and maintain a clean restaurant, while still providing to go supplies, but for the to-go orders an additional charge is absolutely ridiculous. Totally understand the rising cost of food & supplies which justifies the raised prices on the new menu. With to-go orders they are literally doing no additional serving or cleaning up after, but they pay more per item? Just not seeing the justification personally. That is why I’ve only rated three stars to an absolute fantastic restaurant.

This was our first time eating at this restaurant. We had high hopes that it would be a new favorite spot in town to go to. We went on a Tuesday evening, and granted it was busy. Unfortunately we waited over an hour to get our main course. The portion sizes are quite small for the pricing as well. The food lacked flavor overall, and had been sitting out for quite some time before it got to our table. We would recommend that they add some garlic salt to their toasted bread. The server was polite at least.Don’t think we will be going back.

Amazing Italian food. Everything I've tried is super delicious. If you need your meal altered just be sure you clarify before the order gets to the kitchen. Our only problem has been a modification not being heard or remembered.

My husband and I stopped by on our way from Montana back to Arizona. We were too early for the dinner menu but chose from the lunch menu. I had the smoked gouda mac and cheese with bacon and my husband had the prime rib and provolone wrap. The serving size was perfect, and the food was so good. Their mac and cheese was the best I've had. The service was excellent, and the interior was quaint with an Italian theme. We don't pass by this way very often but will definitely stop by again when we are in the area.

Passing through on our way to Montana. Arrived at the Home 2 hotel and took a short walk through the parking lot to try this out. Delicious! Service was great! Best caprese salad I've had. This is a simple appetizer but their spin on it was perfect. We had the lasagna. It tasted like homemade which I love. It came with a side salad and 2 pieces of bread. My husband and I split all this and it was the perfect size! Taking dessert Togo!

I give it four stars because I didn't think the food was that great. I thought the atmosphere was great I thought the service was outstanding and the food was good. As I said not great. It seems like all the food is premade in frozen. Which is all right they buy good quality frozen food but it's not homemade Italian

I loved the pizza here and the pasta was very good as well. We got the cheese and the veggie pizza and added chicken. Came out great. Pretty good prices for the size and quality of the pizza. Would recommend stopping in if you're in the area.

Food is on the expensive side for Pocatello. It's an old gas station but they've remodeled it nicely. Overall the food is pretty good
