Authentic mexican restaurant, it feels and smells like you're going to get some authentic Mexican food, and that's what you get. The tacos are incredible Be sure to grab some pastor and asada with the green salsa.

Best tacos in town, hands down! I think I've tried everyone's in town, they are all good, but El Harradero is just one knotch above.

I usually get tacos here and I love them. Tonight I got the Chile Verdi burrito to go. It was tasty and nice portion sizes. I will most likely have some for leftovers. The pork chunks are a nice size and the green sauce is just spicy enough. They gave me extra if I wanted to put more on it. PS. I also like getting their horchata which is mildly flavored and sweet.

I have eaten at this resteraunt for several years, and up until recently El Herradero used to have the best Mexican food in Pocatello. The restaurant on Arthur St. Has had a slow, steady decline in food quality in recent months. It seems that every time we order, the food has been saturated in orange grease, and is presented in a sloppy fashion. Today we ordered a chicken taco salad and a shrimp taco salad to try something different. Both salads had less then 1/4 cup of rusty iceberg lettuce, a scant amount of under ripe tomatoes, no cheeses, and runny sour cream, not to mention that our plates, and both of our entire salads were saturated in orange grease! This meal was definitely not edible or even worth $21+ dollars and a tip! I'm sad to say that after eating several wonderful meals at El Herradero in the past, I will not be returning to my former favorite Mexican restaurant in town.

The police department staff recommended I stop for lunch. The place had about 10 JR highers in the place, way to loud. Thankfully they left. The tri color enchiladas were good with rice and beans. I like the green sauce, the chicken had an unusual taste. The owner tried his best to serve me. Not sure if I'd stop back. The place could use a good cleaning.
