I stopped in to get food after skiing after reading reviews.The place was impressive and just looked like an inviting place.I walked in and there was a woman’s rights events going on. I read some of the posters and was interested in the event. I sent my girlfriend a video of support I knew she would love it.I ordered a beer and tacos and went to my table in the corner and was approached by one of the organizers. She spoke to me very rudely and asked why I was there.I said to get a beer and tacos. She very rudely again asked my intentions.She said if I was to do anything else I would have to leave.Seamed like a great place but I was pretty much ran out.Being started and pointed at I left without eating or drinking the beer.

Overpriced!!! I ordered the pork tacos. The raw corn shells couldn't hold what little filling they had. Disappointing and messy.

-Updated Review- When this place first opened, it was very disappointing... The update - it's great now!!! I cautiously went back because a friend wanted to meet there.Apparently they have new owners. Food is SO good!!! Service and atmosphere is great as well. And the beer is good!! This place is definitely on my list of places to go when I'm in Sandpoint!!

We came here because I saw PASTIES listed on previous reviews. We were disappointed to find out that they are no longer on the menu. We did stay for a beverage and I enjoyed the local beer and wine selection.

Outrageously overpriced, especially for a "fast casual" service style (you order at counter, they do minimal table service". Who the hell sells a $15 Caesar salad WITHOUT chicken? This place has does. Our family left without even ordering seeing the prices. I was born and raised here, and enjoy some of the improvements our area has had with the influx of population, but I'm not going to support the price insanity this place is trying to normalize. This isn't downtown Denver, and we don't want it to be.

Excellent service, good beer, and I had the spicy chicken sandwich which was really good!I think it's important to note for others - we don't mind - but it is very kid-friendly which is cool. But we felt like it was worth mentioning for those who maybe aren't cool with a lot kids around!

Nicely decorated. Flights available with 5 beers. Indoor, outdoor and bar seating. The pretzel is very small for the price. Service could be better.

The beer is cold and delicious. Our hamburger was yummy. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially Allie, who made our evening just feel that much friendlier and relaxing.

I finished a long, hot mountain bike ride in the Pine Street Woods and rolled down the hill into Sandpoint looking for a cold beer and lunch. Matchwood was right on the way and was the perfect stop. They have a huge outside seating area where I could keep my bike at the table. The beers were delicious and so we're the tacos! I'll be back.
