The food is really good and this place is really nice, but it is hard to get great service. The staff is very unattentive at times so it can take real time to get their attention or even just get your food. I've spent up to 20 minutes waiting to order before, but the food was worth it.

WHAT is going on at this place? Have been going here for YEARS and never been disappointed. Until now. Table of 5 of us, I was greeted promptly and given menus. Asked for a high chair. 15 minutes later no high chair and I went and found it myself. Waitress finally arrived and took our order (different from the one who gave menus). Waited 40 min for food to arrive. My son in law bit into his hot chicken sandwich and it was a bone in piece of chicken. Did not even remotely resemble a chicken breast.Asked to speak with the manager, was told that he was busy with a crisis in the kitchen and was offered a round of drinks instead. I did not ask for drinks, I asked to speak with him.I lost a whole lot of respect for this place and management.....if they cannot take the time to talk to a long time customer who requests a moment of his time maybe they do not need business very bad.Sad beyond words.
Sports tap is my go to place a few times a week. The staff is the absolute best!

This place has really stepped up their game. Rumor has it there's an owner named Daniel Edwin Chicken who's created the greatest chicken in all the lands. I tried the tenders the other day and it gave me superpowers. I went back to the year 2000 and won the high school state championship, became valedictorian, and won the Nobel peace prize in the same day. You don't need a flux capacitor to reach 1.21 gigawatts to time travel, just a reservation at the Tap.
Had a great dinner and Shelbey was the best bartender!!! Definitely will be back.

I just wanted to take a minute to say that I love Sports tap! It is a great place to be. I started going there originally to just play sand- volleyball. That being said their fantastic food, service, and environment has kept me coming back during sand volleyball season and off-season. If you go you need to try the Heaters hot chicken sandwich and ask for Shelbey! ?
