The staff take care of their customers and I appreciate having a fun and safe spot to go alone or with my girlfriends. The staff watch out for their customers and service is great. You feel like a regular from the start. Prices are fair, folks are friendly, and it feels like you step back in time when you sit down at the bar. A real neighborhood tavern for everybody.

This place is a great neighborhood tavern. Prices are fair, customers seem like a mix of everyone, and the staff are really good at what they do. I don't have to repeat my order after my first round, which makes me feel like they actually want their customers to relax and have fun. It's a hidden gem in downtown Alton where I feel safe going solo or with my girlfriends.

I don't know if their underaged but neither does the bartender as I never saw anyone get carded. Overall, compleatly stressful experience.

Well they were open and only one open but the beertender was arguing with a drunk guy& refused to serve him told him to leave then several fights broke out in the street then as we went to see what was goin on in the street here came the drunk guy in a car and came way to close at high speed almost hit them all seems like some regulars some not It was the first I'd been there and WOW just WOW not very relaxing for sure!
