Did the food you ordered get better?I wonder why other reviews are so high.I ordered gyudon. The rice seemed like a large serving. However, there is clearly less meat. It's like a small amount of meat is lined up so that you can't see the rice. If you eat rice and meat at a ratio of 1:1, you will end up eating only half of the rice.In fact, the ratio of rice to meat is about 5:1. Still, there wasn't much meat, so I had no choice but to eat white rice with the miso soup that came with it.In that case, it would be better to eat less rice and still have a good balance of meat and rice.In the end, it's not just a matter of regret, but rather that the management situation is not good, and they have no choice but to serve this kind of food. That's what I thought. Also, I wonder if other customers will want to come here again because of something like this? and.The taste isn't really that great either, so I'd like to at least be satisfied with the volume. However, it's not just that there's a lot of rice.

One of my favorite Japanese restaurants in the Chicago area. Very good Japanese home cooking. Good variety - ramen, teriyaki, katsu. Inexpensive for what you get.

Absolutely delicious Japanese food. You can order at the counter (they’ll bring it to you) or you can order on your phone and leave a tab open (and close out at the end). We got a meal set with shio mackerel and katsu with ponzu, udon, edamame, and a large katsu curry. Everything was delicious and authentic. The prices are great for the portions and quality. If this place were near us in the city, we’d be in trouble. #curryeveryday

Food was good, service was fine, restaurant was clean, I had the tan tan men and the takoyaki. I also took a beef bowl to go. Everything was pretty good and enjoyable, just, not the best examples of anything I've had. I def recommend people come and try the place if they're nearby.Parking: Lots of spots right in front of the restaurant.

I should’ve taken the photo first but the food was TOO GOOD and I couldn’t stop eating. One of the best Japanese restaurants in Illinois and STRONGLY recommend. You won’t regret.

Excellent authentic tasting Japanese food. Before checking out the place I read a few reviews. The ones that caught my eye were about Spicy Stamina Ramen. People were debating whether it was too spicy or not. For me, it was just right. My 12 year old also tried a bit and liked it. So not too spicy. We also tried okaka onigiri, fried chicken and octopus as well as takoyaki. Takoyaki was rich and tasty. No frills, authentic Japanese comfort food place.
