This has become one of our go-to local establishments. It may not seem like much walking by but the food is good and is a good value. They pay close attention to the cuisine, so don't expect to get it at fast-food speed.
Chips and salsa were tasty especially since the chips had just been fried and was equally impressed by their Chile de árbol salsa which was spicy! Had some tacos de carnitas which were delicious, birria de res, and fish. My least favorite was the fish since I was expecting a fried fish but overall it was all tasty.
I went here when I couldn't find tamales anywhere else in the area (that was also open in the evening on a Friday) and I needed them ASAP. The man said they were made fresh in the morning and I was a little iffy about it but worth the try. I was picking up for a friend and I was in a bit of a mess because the place I originally was sent to get them sold out. So I had to come up with something quick.
