Fresh fried food, big shrimp, breading is light and easily falls off. The fries are fresh cut just but flavor is okay and serving size is on the smaller size. Pricing is more reasonable than other seafood eateries. 1/2 pound of shrimp dinner can easily feed (2). I wished had more healthier options to choose from but a great place to go for a cheat meal.

I love there food haven't eaten here since covid started mainly because I haven't been out a whole lot! I love eating local and I try to do it as often as possible because Calumet city keeps loosing all of are businesses. The Shack has been a regular stop for my Dad and I who love shrimp and fish, and the food is always good. Would have given them a five ( * ) it the Milk Shake machine wasn't down so much ( cause I love the salted caramel shake ).
