We had a group of 20 come in tonight for my birthday unexpectedly as the restaurant we had reservations for practically refused to take us. Let me just say The Greathouse of Pizza not only took us in but served us quickly, the food was piping hot and overall absolutely delicious!! I just want to say thank you to the hard working staff there who made my birthday a lot less stressful!!! I really appreciate it and without question we will be back!
So for Casey, IL, this is great pizza. If you grew up in Chicago, it's just "ok" deep dish. I got a sausage and mushrooms deep dish pie and I was pleased with the sauce and crust, but the actual sausage used was very bland, nothing memorable about the flavor. The cheese used is very good. All in, you get a great value for your buck here. Just don't expect lou malnatis good.

Seriously some of the best pizza I have ever had. Their cheese bread was amazing. Don't be in a rush, but absolutely worth the wait. We are not from Casey but will make the 45 minute drive just to eat at this small town jewel.
