My husband and I went for our Anniversary. I had 1 of the chef's specials and my husband had a ribeye, the food was amazing. Cooked and seasoned perfectly. We also had a shrimp cocktail, the size of the shrimp was huge and the sauce had the perfect heat to it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a wonderful experience.

Service was excellent. Food was great. I had the Prime Rib it was awesome. The only slightly negative thing I s the Crab Cake appetizer was just a tad under cooked; if that didn't happen. I'd given them 5 stars for the food!

We had a wonderful first time experience at Hamilton Walker's in Champaign, IL. for my husband's birthday. The wait staff was amazing, service was swift, food was piping hot and DELICIOUS, and the atmosphere was peaceful and comfortable. We will definitely recommend this place to all of our friends and family.

We thoroughly enjoyed our anniversary dinner here. The wait staff is attentive without being intrusive. The pace of items coming to our table was just right. We felt neither rushed nor abandoned. The steaks were cooked exactly as ordered. and the flavor was top notch. The side portions are large enough for two people to split. Crème brûlée and bread pudding topped off the experience.

The food was very good and staff excellent. It was not crowded but we were seated in a booth close to a table of loud talking and laughing guys. It was a Wednesday with 6pm reservation and not crowded. I expected better. Got a couple other places to check out before I might go back.

Our table ordered the scallops, salmon, seafood penne, and chicken parm. All were prepared perfectly. The salmon and scallops stand out for perfection. Jackson was an attentive and friendly server. This is our go-to place for celebrations and special evenings.

Elizabeth D. was fantastic as our server - she saw that we wanted to take our time and enjoy the experience provided service accordingly (we didn't feel rushed so they could turn the table around). Food options were great and excellent value for money.

Service and food were quite good. Loved the outdoor area and the neighborhood. This was our initial visit and would definitely return and recommend. Slightly more expensive than I expected but that was my failure not to look at entrees more closely!

A classic steakhouse with modern touches. Great food. An excellent experience.
We went there some time ago, and this place was superb. Everything was excellent, and the service was exemplary. Expensive, but worth it for a splurge.

We went to the most recent wine dinner and again, Nathan, Chef, and the team hit a home run! This was our 4th wine dinner and we can not recommend them more. Thank you for another great experience and offering a fun spin from the typical date night options!

I've been to "The Ribeye" and "Silvercreek," but this place is by far the best for dining in. The Broadway classical music creates a joyous atmosphere, and the variety of waitstaff ensures excellent service for every occasion. Despite my spontaneous decision to dine here and being casually dressed, the service was impeccable. The staff's emotional intelligence and etiquette were outstanding. Fiona discreetly refilled our water with a hand behind her back, and Elizabeth, our waitress, provided attentive service at just the right moments. Additionally, a busser promptly cleaned up, and a manager checked in to ensure everything was satisfactory. The restaurant features two rooms: the bar room and the dining room. I recommend lounging in the dining room for the best experience. We asked for a second serving of bread and they gave an extra helping the second time almost instinctively knowing we enjoyed more of it. Food was delicious and affordable for a steakhouse which is another star under their belt!

I prefer the taste of a steak on a McDonald's breakfast sandwhich more than the tough rubber they serve at Hamilton Walker's. HW's charges absurd prices due to being probably the most high end restaurant in a town with very little fine dining, taking advantage of their customers while delivering exceptionally small portions. They're well known for their "Mac and Cheese" which tastes Kraft with bread crumbs on top. Seriously the Mac and Cheese and Chick-fil-A is miles above this place. I don't remember the soup I got, but it tasted like dish water. If you're looking for a fine dining option in town, Baxter's American Grille is a much better choice with better food, quicker service, larger portions, and lower prices.
