These reviewers are tripping... who goes to a club for the food? Goofy as hell.The crowd was crazy when I was there and it was all around a great time. Drinks were stiff.

This place is a quintessential college bar. When it's busy--it gets kinda crazy and the bartenders do their best to keep up. If you are cool and stay patient and tip an applicable amount (bartenders rely on their tips, people!) you will get service in good time and with a good attitude. Chucktown classic!

Food is delicious! Amazing Staff. While we waited for our food my daughter and I played jumbo jenga and darts. Next time is a round of pool. Definitely would recommend this place for everyone.

New management is very disrespectful to her employees. I will never eat here. I forgot to mention that new management is serving desert that was in the freezer from the last time the restaurant was open

I'm so upset and disappointed in the food and wish I had never asked my husband to have dinner here for Valentine's Day the food looked great on the advertisement but not at all good. it was awful and the presentation was so sloppy we almost demanded our money back. The crap they're cooking is not worth the price and my family will never return after our experience last night.
Service great food looked good, if you can get it within an hour after ordering.

First time we heard about this club we heard great things so wanted to go there to celebrate my birthday because I really hadnt done so at all. Walked for 20 minutes, in heels, in the bitter cold, only to realize it was closed (The journey Im not blaming them on just the realization of it being closed). UGH what happened to this place?! I am an EIU alum and visited this past weekend for Family Weekend - whenever I come to visit Charleston I always reminisce of the great college years I had but this place put a terrible taste in my mouth! The staff was rude, the DJ was degrading, and one of the bartenders flicked off another patron... LIKE WHAT?!? Never in my life have I experienced something to this magnitude - spending money on drinks to be treated horribly - I guess that's what you get when you walk into a bar comprised of very young (possibly underage) employees. The Stu's I experience this past weekend was NOT the Stu's I knew and loved from 8 years ago!!! Such a shame!!

THE WORST! Came down to EIU to visit my cousin during family weekend. I was with all of my family at this "club", which was about 20 of us. Everything was going great until one of my cousins decided to request a song to the DJ. When my cousin asked about playing a song, the DJ immediately was extremely rude and kept responding, "no requests get away!" We were not happy with the DJ because he was so rude. Then the DJ had one of his bartenders come yell at my cousin for going upstairs to ask to play a song. The bartender then was getting mouthy with my cousin and walked away and flicked us off. Unprofessionalism at its finest. But, I guess that's what we should expect when you have underage people serving drinks, acting as bouncers, and a DJ that's playing the whole Kids Bop album. Shortly after that my whole family was asked to leave Stu's with zero explanation. We were man handled and screamed at the whole way out. It is very safe to say we will never be bringing our business back to Stu's. I hope this establishment starts to teach their workers on how to treat people.
