Kind of felt ignored at the bar. Very good food, but $50 for a dozen oysters isn't good value.

Cool place! Tasty sour beer & my fried rice with chicken was yummy although it had a bit of a fishy taste (fish sauce?) which I wasn’t crazy about but didn’t hate either. It also had excessive bean sprouts but that’s my personal preference; I removed 95% of them lol. My friend got the Rose Tteokbokki; it was a bit spicy for her but had decent flavor. The bartender told us it’s a popular & well-liked dish ??‍♀️ I don’t live around here so I wouldn’t seek it out again but always nice to have new experiences!

Worst service. I’m not sure if we looked young or perhaps melanated but the host was shockingly condescending. He repeatedly told us not to “bother the other customers” even though we hadn’t given any indication we were bothersome? I tried to be as polite as possibly but he wasn’t having it. We left immediately. I feel bad that we weren’t able to try the food so don’t take the review as an indication of bad food but we just didn’t feel welcome.

They gave me and my friends free drinks once so like they got three customers for life

Came on a Monday to experience the Owen and Engine winter residency. Got their burger, which was one thick boy. It was covered in a bed of caramelized onions which provided a nice sweetness. Other than that the burger lacked flavor. The patty itself was like a slab of beef with little taste. The bun suprisingly held its integrity even with all that meat and juice on it. The fries that accompanied the burger were good. Some were a little undercooked but overall tasty. Finally, the malt vinegar mayo was alright. I wish it had a more defined flavor. At the end of the day, I was able to try the burger before they closed up shop and will probably never experience a thicker patty in my life. If I had more time I would come back and try the banger and mash as everyone else there was eating that.

I like Bixi in every way, but I was here for the Owen and Engine winter run. The burger continues to be incredible. The korma was pleasant, but the peanuts and assorted pickle jar are something I could eat as a meal by themselves.

Decent vibes and definitely some good food options but nothing was truly spectacular. Our server wasn’t super thrilled to be there and some of the ingredient proportions were a bit off. The cumin lamb noodles, for example, had excellent tasting meat but we felt the amount of bean sprouts and cilantro overwhelmed the dish.

Great food, and so much variety! “Egg rolls” may not sound special but they were. The green beans rocked. Loved the pasta with fish cakes. The “Lower Wacker” cocktail was a revelation—juicy fresh! The in-house lager was great. Service was exceptional, host & bartender & server (yay Ryan B.!).very conscious of allergies and restrictions (though I have none).pleasant light and sound and vibe. Don’t take themselves too seriously, either. Big recommend. I’ll be back!

If I could give zero stars I would. DO NOT BOOK THIS VENUE FOR YOUR EVENTS. My sister and brother in law booked this venue for their wedding this summer and shortly after a close family member was paralyzed in a tragic accident. Since the space does not have an elevator (which is a huge ADA oversight on its own) we had serious concerns regarding the accessibility. When we reached out with our concerns, we were not only met with a lack of understanding and compassion but also misinformation and disregard for our situation. This has left us with no choice but to look elsewhere. The management of this restaurant is clearly inflexible and selfish in the face of unforeseen circumstances, which is exactly what you need out of a venue when you’re planning something as important as a wedding. Shameful.

Liked everything about this place. Did the Dim Sum Brunch and everything was fresh, flavorful and well presented. Got to try a few items and beers each and will definitely return. Unique Fusion food concept!

They have REVIVED the burger special! Without a doubt, the best burger combo in the city. Thank you for keeping it - it’s hard to find a burger spot that you love to frequently go to.

Been here twice now, once for O&E residency and once for the standard menus, and it was a great time both times.

Great ambience, delicious food. Can’t wait to go back. Went on an Owen and Engine night. Burgers were so flavorful and the pretzel was the best part of my meal.
