I enjoyed my food, and the service was outstanding. I ordered the fried catfish, accompanied by two sides: macaroni and cheese and yams. Everything was delicious. If I'm ever in the area again, I most definitely would stop by. My order was to-go; however, there was a person eating inside.

We found this restaurant by Google search. We had never been there and thought we would eat inside. However, they cater more to carry out although there is spaces to eat. There were a lot of people in and out so we had a good inclination that the food would be good. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The food portions were very generous and the prices were fair. I had the smothered turkey wings, mac & cheese and greens. Anytime you get mac & cheese right you get two thumbs up for me. Great job! I’m from Detroit and I will be back.

This was the best down home food I've had since moving to the city. Reminds me just of my mama's cooking back in Mississippi! We tried the pot roast, the baked chicken, the fried wings, and a whole lot of sides. The mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese are DIVINE. Such kind staff and HUGE portions
How do you open one day a week? & don’t have enough food for the sunday influx of church people. I guess they only brought enough to feed a family of 10. Waste of my time & gas to drive there to only be told they are sold out. Everyone yell buy black but this is one reason we can’t support our own but they leave us high & dry. I won’t give them a chance to wrong me again
