Dos is one of the best restaurants in Chicago. The carne asada burrito may be the best value in the entire city. It’s as big as your forearm and just beautiful, so tasty. The margaritas are wonderful, the buffet brunch is the bomb, the happy hour can’t be beat. The little patio is great and the room is big and spacious and warm. The staff is super nice and attentive, and nice to your kids if you have any. This is a perfect neighborhood place and we have been very lucky to have it in Logan. Viva Dos

My friend and I came here for happy hour recently to try something new. The margaritas were fine but the tacos were very overpriced ($7) for the quality. Carnitas taco sounded interesting on the menu and was passable but bland. The fish taco was absolutely inedible. Deep fried chunk of fish that was well overcooked and dried out. I should have sent it back but tried to eat it anyway. There were no salsas or spices on the table to help with the lack of flavor. The prices here do not warrant the quality of the food and be aware that they will add a 20% tip to your bill. The server was not particularly friendly or attentive as we had to wave him down to take our order. Stick to a local mom and pop taqueria if you can find one, the food is tastier and has more spice.

This review is about LUNCH/BRUNCH, not dinner or drinks. We were looking forward to a great brunch, but meh. Limited selection, no atmosphere, and the locals probably know, because there must have been 10 customers total, if that.Again, dinner may well be amazing, but lunch/brunch not so much.

I wish I could give. 2.5/5.From start to finish we were very happy with everyone we interacted with. No complaints about service! The sweet corn tamal tots are great and are the only thing I would recommend. I do wish the habanero crema had some kind of heat to it but it was just semi flavored sour cream. Still not bad.The smoked beet tostada tasted like I was licking the actual smoker. The smoke was so overwhelming you couldn't taste anything else on the plate. Apparently it's a common complaint because the server readily understood and offered to take it off our tab for us.The tacos are hit or miss. We tried the carne asada, carnitas and arabe. They were all edible but the first two were almost bland and the arabe was good but had so much going on that you couldn't taste the lamb. The pie's they had for dessert currently seemed like a weird add on the menu and a huge missed opportunity for an on theme flan dessert. The key lime pie was good but the chocolate caramel pie was a flop.We would go back for happy hour drinks but I don't think we'd stick around for dinner.

Dos Urban Cantina offers a solid twist on Mexican cuisine with new unique takes on traditional dishes and also offers authentic classics. Love the vibe and the staff. The current starter - smoked beet tostada hits all the flavor notes and delivers. Sweet corn tamal is delicious. Margaritas are great and their current Bang Bang Pie deserts shouldn't be missed.Vegetarian options: Tons of options.

When I tell you the food was sooooooo good! And the Key Lime pie had me dancing with every bite. It's a cute date night vibe. Side note: The owners Evan was awesome, he checked on us a number of times and made sure we were have a great experience. I will definitely be back!

Their happy hour is really great and one of few places that has it on Friday and Saturday! Margs are delicious and you have to get their dip trio! I was really impressed with the weekly specials we got last time. Compliments to the chef!

Would not recommend. The menu lacks any real cohesion. We ordered the tacos arabes and both taste and appearance was disappointing. The service was probably the worst part, our server didn't seem interested in taking our order or checking in on our food. Avoid at all costs

Not really sure what happened to this place. Had dinner here a couple years ago and the food, drinks and service were outstanding. Had dinner here yesterday, the menu has changed (not for the better), the drinks were bland and the service wasn’t good. Don’t think we’ll be back.

This was on my list to try for the longest time, and the fact that they had a daily hh was just the cherry on top! We got to take advantage of amazing deals while enjoying the delicious food and drinks. Our service was extremely fast as well though we had to flag down our waiter a couple of times to get his attention. The skinny marg was refreshing and light - at a steal at $7 during hh too! The cauliflower wings were my favorite, and the actual chicken wings were also delicious. The dip trio was a great dish to share as an appetizer. The spicy ceasar was super tasty and excellent with the rest of the dishes as well. The baja fish taco was definitely the best, but all of the tacos were amazing, flavorful, cheap, and big portions! The tortillas were so soft but with a perfect crisp, and the tacos were STUFFED with all the good stuff. Food was truly amazing, and deals were even better during happy hour. Such a great find in Logan Square!

The food was okay. I ordered the red enchiladas and my enchiladas fell apart after one bite. The food was not warm enough either. Drinks were okay. Was not impressed at all.

Happy hour of course is the best hour. If you're planning on coming here, make it during the evening on a weekday. Dos Urban Cantina is a good little Mexican American restaurant in Logan Square on Armitage. Kind of a limited menu, and prices there are a bit high, which is the biggest complaint. The drinks are better than the food, especially considering the portions and prices. After hearing about how good this is, we made sure to get there and finally did. It's only open in the evening. The first couple hours are happy hour. It's $5 for a House Margarita, good deal. We got several of these. It's made with Limonada, Lunazul Blanco, and Orange Liqueur. This unfortunately also is small. It's only a little glass. The happy hour price makes up for it. As for the food, it was less impressive. Seems to be a lack of choices for vegetarians. Grilled Veggie Tacos was what we got. It's $5 each, for a small a** one. This comes topped with black beans, salsa, and seasonal vegetables. Good flavor. There just needed to be more. Flavors are good. It may not have been worth the wait but we found a few other good places around here. That may make it worth heading over this way to try more things.

The Service and drinks where great. The food menu was lacking. The ceviche was nice but raw fish would have elevated it. We did like the mole and mushroom taco but the chicken taco was bland and the tacos arabes was an abomination. Like the presentation was a plate of mustard and no yogurt sauce in tacos arabes?!

Amazing food - everything we ordered was 5 star. Staff is friendly and super helpful - they went out of their way to make a birthday celebration special.
