It's just two blocks from Michigan Avenue, it's not big chain food, they're making burgers fresh. It is a normal place to eat, neither on the street nor a restaurant with waiters. Good place to eat after walking and

I enjoyed my first time at Epic Burger. The hot honey chicken sandwich was good and messy. Get your napkins ready! The service was excellent and went above and beyond what you expect from fast food. I was very impressed and would return again.

Seriously fresh and tasty burger. It's cooked smash burger style with onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato, and a special sauce. You have the option to customize toppings and they also have a double or triple patty option. Whoa! The menu has a bunch of other classic burger joint features including fries, fish sandwiches, chicken sandwiches, milk shakes and much more. Very friendly service with plenty of places to sit but we opted to grab and go. I will be back to try them all. Nom nom!

The only reason this place didn’t get a 1 star is because of how friendly and quick the staff. The staff here is great.More systemically, if you’re going to call yourself Epic Burger, make your burgers taste epic. This is the most mediocre burger I’ve ever had. And for $20 for a burger, drinks and fries, it really needs to be awesome. 10/10 would choose Five Guys over this. And Five Guys isn’t close to what I would consider an ‘epic burger’.Improve your procurement. Do better.

I went on a Saturday evening. It was definitely tasty and I would recommend the sweet potato fries.

This place is all about freshness. The burgers are coarsely ground and thick enough for a double to make you wish you could unhinge your jaw like a reptile. And a shout out for the fries which are ample and sizzling hot. Great shakes, too.

GOLD COAST LOCATION ONLY IS THE BEST!!! The State St location completely messed up my Epic Turkey, smashed the turkey to a thin thin sheet in the beef meatsauce [smh] & overcooked the sweet potato fries in old dirty cooking oil; its easy to taste (YUCK!) .... So I took this terrible excuse of an Epic Burger to MY NORMAL LOCATION... GOLD COAST!! The Manager Dora, is absolutely the best! She had the food remade, and I am back ONLY GOING TO THIS LOCATION!!! Gaby & Levi were so nice too! The vibe at this location is chill, positive and in alignment with the Gold Coast neighborhood! Stop in & see for yourself!

Easy spot to grab lunch. They lost one of our orders, but brought it out when we checked on it. The chicken sandwich was good and so were the fries. You have lots of choices for condiments for your burgers, and you can get double or triple patties. The drinks are all in bottles, no fountain drinks. They have hot dogs, too.

I'm sure Epic Burger was way better than I had today! All of the essentials were in place to make an epic lunch with Epic Burger. But, alas, it was not - epic. We ordered our lunch at 11:30 and it was delivered at 12:30. Just using common sense, eating a cheeseburger and fries 45 minutes after it was cooked seems like a stretch (and it was). The temperature was off (of course) the fries were limp (of course) and the whole experience was flat. That being said, I will go back, eat my lunch there and I'm sure I will up the stars of this review. To be continued
