I always try to support local, but ESPECIALLY Humboldt Haus. The guys that run the liquor joint are cool as hell and the bar/restaurant makes up some damn tasty sandwiches! Check out the Haus, they're my #1!

Great sandwiches, beer selection, and shot special in a cozy, local neighborhood setting where, like cheers, everybody knows your name. There are 3 connected businesses here. A package goods liquor store with a great selection and reasonable prices. A sandwich bar with tasty sandwiches, beer, and limited mixed drink options. A draw for locals and visitors alike. The latest addition is a coffee shop, which is clean, white, and a welcome addition to the neighborhood. There are limited coffee options in walking distance in this corner of the neighborhood. Coffee is one of the few things I make well, so I can't comment on the third establishment. If like the other 2, I'm sure it's a great early time gathering spot.

I love this little place near my place!!! Every sandwich I've had has been perfect and I really appreciate the selection or different unique sodas it's all perfect for a quick lunch that isn't too heavy but fills you up for the day.There's also a small bar located near the back of the place which I haven't actually sat at unless waiting for my sandwich but I always see a few people chatting away having fun so I appreciate it being there and perhaps one of these days I'll actually stay for a drink or two.That being said this place is a gem, and I truly appreciate all the friendly staff and generous proportions!
